Roadtrippers--it's confession time

Now I'm going to have to get a pair it seems like everyone on the board has a pair now. :) I've been looking for some new workout pants for this fall. It's just I got 3 workout pants currently sitting on my todo list, of heming or taking them in a little bit and making them smaller. Well I've torn apart one, it had these cool zippers at the ankles so you can let out the heat if needed, luckly they got a seam at the knee, so I didn't have to fight with trying to take up a zipper. It's just getting me to sit down long enough to pull out all the stitching at the knees, and hem them up and sew them all back together. So I more then likely will be adding another project to the list. hehe

If you're anything like me, you'll wait til the absolute latest day you figure you might need them , then take them to the "hem while you wait" tailor & pay an arm & a leg for them.

At least, that's been my experience. And I do have to alter a lot of pants with my short legs.

LOL, Marla. I've did that only once and couldn't believe what I had to pay for something I myself can do generally in less than an hour, and I’m slow at it since I don’t do it all the time, it was around $22. I about flipped, as the thread used to hem them cost about 3 cents for the good stuff. So I just pretend to pay myself to do them, as the tailor took about the same amount of time it would have, if I would have did it. So I sure didn’t save any time. Though generally I’m not all that inspired to do them until I picture paying someone again and just can’t part with $22, for less then an hour worth of work.
