Cannot believe that on Tuesday I did a 5-mile training walk in 75 degrees, and this morning we awoke to 6" of snow! Ugh.

Today I did Drill Max (this is one that I almost wish I could do everyday - it has SUCH a high fun factor for me) and GSBSB - heavied up the weights and have a nice burn going on. Katami bar for abs.

I hope you all have a very happy weekend, and if you celebrate Easter, a very blessed holiday. Lots on tap with the kids this w/e, so I'll check back when I get a moment.

Goodmorning Lorrie. We have flurries here, but so far, nothing has stuck.

Today is supposed to be GS BSB for me,but I'm not sure I'll get to it. I have to do some grocery shopping after work, and expect it to be very busy. I'm not feeling very inspired to workout lately and can't figure out why.

Hope everyone else feels inspired and uplifted.

This morning I did S&H triceps ME triceps and band work from gym style triceps, coremax 2 and cardio premix from Boot Camp, I'm cooked!

This weather stinks its 20 degrees here in kansas city

I did David Swenson's Yoga today and will run the Komen 5K tomorrow.
I guess I won't complain about the 50 degree morning we are having in TX since you girls are getting SNOW!! Can't believe it!

Today is Phase1/Week2/Day2 of the X. Dh and I will be doing Plyo when he gets home tonight. I have to get some shopping, cooking and cleaning done today.

Lorrie: What is the deal with winter not wanting to leave! We only got some snow flurries yesterday, but it's far from feeling like Spring here. It's so cold for this time of year! Happy Easter to you too!

Robin: It must be the weather. My body wants to slip under the covers and not come out until the sun does. Maybe, you'll feel more inspired once you get home. Sometimes I can get myself inspired from reading the boards or watching a fitness dvd. By the time I finally get off my butt and workout, it's time for bed. I feel so good afterwards, I want to kick myself for waiting so long to do it! So, don't be like me... Just do it! Pick up a fitness mag while you in the checkout line. Just look at me! I'm trying to pump you up and I haven't even worked out yet. LOL If you end up not working out, don't sweat it. I consider grocery shopping before a holiday a workout in itself! ;-)

Gin: Yes, please keep your complaints to yourself! :p Randi, Lorrie, Robin and I might show up at your doorstep and enjoy your weather! :D

Good morning roadtrippers!!! I woke up a tad late this morning. My kitties didn't wake me up as early as they usually do, giving me a break!

paWendy- Hiya!! So far, the day has started out great! I'm feeling sorry for you easterners with your weather! Bummerx( I envy you that your DH and you are doing the X together! I've been trying to convince my DH to give it a try!

Today will be MM upperbody and the DM cardioblast premix. (Lorrie-
DM is my favorite!) Later today it'll be a 40 minute elliptical workouts. (Great crosstraining for runners!)

Hi there road trippers! Yesterday was Imax 2 for me. Today is going to be one of the gym styles. I may get adventurous and do both of the upper body ones. Depends on if my shoulder is holding up ok for the push-ups. I've been spending a lot of time searching online for some outfits for the RT. Anyone else planning on updating their "wardrobe". I normally work out at home with only my wiener dogs as spectators, so my current clothes includes old t-shirts and spandex shorts from jr. high! ;)

My eating hasn't been great at all these past few days. I haven't worked out in TWO days, and I feel really guilty.
Wednesday was my rest day, and after all my running around yesterday, I didn't have a chance to work out.. My problem is, If I don't get the workout in as soon as I get home from work I can forget about getting it in at all. I am going to try my hardest to start working out in the morning, at least my cardio....this means getting out of bed by 4:30 a.m. - 5 the latest, as I have to get out the door on most days by 7 a.m. I am NOT a morning person... Me and the snooze button are best friends!!! :)

I am starting the BFL program next week. I heard that if you follow it to the book you will get better results. So, I am going to try and put Cathe's weight workouts on hold (I will still do her cardio for my HIIT training) and see how it goes.....at least for the first (4) weeks or so. Does anyone workout Free-Style? How did you like it? I usually need a DVD to get me motivated, but I'm hoping I can cope without .... :0

Tonight is Leaner Legs (according to Upper Body Bliss Rotation)...but I might do GS Legs since this has a more FUN factor for me. I get DOMS from this workout everytime... Plus, this workout has done wonders for my calves!!!

This is my eating habit today ; Don't scold me, I told you it was bad....:)

B - Doughnut & Coffee ( WendyPA, I have my fingers in my ears....LaLaLa )
S - Pretzels and a few minature chocolate bar ... :9
L - Not sure yet, Probably stop at Wawa and get a W/W Turkey Sandwich & Fruit ( I have to behave one time today...:) )

For all of you enduring the cold and snow, I am right there with you. Here in New York it is cold and dreary. Looks like snow and we are supposed to possibly be getting some.

My kids are going to stay with my sister in law tonight and my hubby is working the late shift, so I almost don't know what to do with myself the rest of the day. Church tonight, but before that possible shopping therapy?? Who knows...

Lorrie... where are you that there is 6" of snow?? WOW!

Robin... We all have times when we aren't motivated. Usually I just do something completely different, or just do a workout at a different time than normal. Maybe sometimes your body just needs a break as well as your mind. You will find your motivation again I'm sure!!

I just came back from teaching Cardio/Sculpt ( my own class kicks my butt!!) and plan to do some extra cardio like the combo section of KPC and a little treadmill once I'm off the computer.

Hope everyone has a great day... a peaceful Good Friday to you all!

Hello all! My week has been a little crazy too! I had the funeral of a very good friend, my husbands birthday, super busy at work and a everything at church is scheduled at different times - so my mind has been a total whirlwind.

I done Gym style chest and triceps last night. I LOVED IT! Bummed me out though because I can't do push-ups due to a shoulder issue. But the rest of workout amazed me. The part where she said can you feel it now? I started laughing and said outloud of course "feel what, I'm numb now".

I should be home early enough from church to do Gym style shoulders/back/biceps and I can't wait!!!

Back to work I go.....I hope all of you have a Blessed Easter weekend!:)
 
Hope everyone's doing well today. Never got a chance to post yesterday. I'll have to go back and catch up.

This morning was GSBSB. I acutally did the back part yesterday, cuz I knew today would be cut short. My chest was still screaming from Wed's Chest & Tri's. Ouch. I haven't been that sore in a long time.

Jennifer, I had to laugh at your menu. No scolding here, It just looks like your preparing for the BFL, taking in all the the things you love, but will probably be giving up starting next week.

Hello again! Time for a second posting today!! I was feeling particularly energized this morning and ended up doing the ultracardioblast premix of DM where the segments are done twice....love it}(

Vicki- if you get wiped out by your own class I feel sorry for your students:eek: Are you in NYcity or upstate? I'm vacationing with my DH this June in Montauk, LI and really looking forward to it.

Liann- Hey, you and I have similar wardrobes! I'm queen of the ratty old T shirts! I'm afraid I'm thoroughly perplexed about shopping for new outfits. I'm just not very fashion saavy.
I'll just do my best and hope no one laughs at me too hard ;-)

Jennifer- Do you live in NJ? I live in Az but vacation each year in NJ (in-law visit) and I see the Wawas all over the place. I think it is such a funny name for a convenience store! I hear ya about not being a morning person! I work nights myself and would have a very hard time getting up that early!

Tina- The Gymstyles are great aren't they? Have you done GS legs yet? Oooo boy are you in for a burn!

Hi Shelly... I am in upstate NY about 1&1/2 hours outside the city. My husband commutes there every day( drives) and when anyone asks him how he does it his response is " I sleep through it"! It always unnerves me when he says that!! Of course he thinks he's hilarious! Montauk ( or in Long Island"ese" it's Mauntawk)should be a great vacation spot for you guys... have you been to NYC before? If not, make sure you get there and maybe see a show. Hey, you could always come up here and take my class if you want!!

Hi gal pals. Just checking in to say I'm skipping the workout tonight. Work was terrible and the grocery store was insane. I'm indulging in some wine and yummy scallops for dinner. Tomarrow is busy with baking and cleaning, but I'll probably do something cardio. Easter will be crazy with church and dinner. My grandson is being dedicated. I won't get back to regular workouts until next week, but I'm hoping the short break will help me get re-inspired. I hope you all have a gread weekend.

It is disgusting and cold day today here in CT. No snow like Lorrie, but freezing anyway x( . This morning I did low max, very fun! I am planning on doing some abs tonight, haven't decided what, though.

My eating has been good for the past 2 days, so hopefully I can keep it going throught the weekend. We'll see...

Man we are getting HAMMERED!!!! The Indians home opener has had 2 snow delays and driving home from an afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese's with the kids my visibilty was no more than 1/4 mile. Happy Spring! :( My eating day was really bad today, but I'm pre-TTOM so I turn into a bottomless pit. I actually eat and eat and eat and never feel full - I hate it - but I dismiss it to 2 days a month and then I'm back at it. Happy snow and cold all.

Hey Road Trippers.

This weather is crazy! Tuesday I wore flip flops and a tank top and yesterday I was pulling out my winter boots and coat. We did get snow last night, but no accumulation. I think it is harder for me to get motivated to workout when it is cold outside. I ended up doing SJP (on my rotation) and added the 2nd 5 intervals from IMAX 1.
We are babysitting a friend's dotson. Are they all so whiney? Everytime we get up to walk around the house he follows us whimpering (loudly). It gets worse if we pick him up! He is so darn cute, but a little annoying. We have kept him several times before, but it doesn't get any better. I do enjoy the fact that he is small enough to curl up beside me on the couch. My GS doesn't fit very well on the couch!
