Good morning everybody! Great workouts so far today!
Randi-I'm sure mom will be able to watch you. Did you go in '05? The large aerobics room, where we'll be, is lined with glass walls, so she can look in for the whole thing!
Hi, everybody! I had the time to sit and do personals to MOST people. I really LOVE the idea of this Road Trip Check In! Somebody mentioned it’s 20 weeks. I like that better than 4.5 months too (as somebody ELSE said, lol). I won’t always have the time to do personals to everybody, but I do read everything!!!! I promise! This RT sounds like it’s going to be so much fun! In addition to meeting everybody (which is the BEST part), I like the idea of the speakers this time around. That didn’t happen in ’05. I’m really interested in seeing what’s on the agenda!!!!
Lorrie-What an incredible sweet thing for you to say! Thank you SO much! That means a lot. It’s funny, how looking back, 3 years just seems so far away yet so close! Thanks again! I can’t wait to see you once again!
Cheryl-Your plan and rotation sound AWESOME! Definitely include that recovery week in there! I’m so looking forward to mine, which is coming in another 1 ½ - 2 weeks! SO……..tell me more about your marathon and tri experiences. I still consider myself a beginner runner, but I’m slowly moving up in skill and speed!!! I’m always looking for advice!
Colleen-WOW! Great job on quitting smoking. After 20 years? WOW! CONGRATS! That is an awesome present to yourself!!!!
Robin-I’m in awe of your YOU story…..your children, your grandson, etc. Amazing some of the “stories” our lives weave for us, hugh???
Cheryl-Another inspiring Cathe fan. Listen to YOUR resume! I hope you take time, even just a few short minutes, to take care of you! Then again, you work out to Cathe…THAT IS taking care of you!
Nancy J-ohhhh…..I get the nighttime nibbles too! My brain starts kicking into high gear right before the boys’ bedtime. I have to re-train myself each and every night to leave the pantry door CLOSED! Happy BDay to you and DD!!!!!!!!
Beth-technically, if you hit your BACK button on your website’s brower, you can go back. But BE CAREFUL because it’s been known to happen that if you typed anything in a response box and then hit back, then forward again, your post disappears. I like to open the posts from you ladies, and also have a screen opened for my word processing program. This way, I can toggle between the posts and the WP’er so I can type my response without losing it!
Tracy T-I hope you enjoyed your rest day! It’s such a necessity, yet SO hard to do! LOL. Enjoy the warm weather. We’re getting 70 temps today too, in PA! And thank you, too, for your kind words. Life is not always easy, but the way things work themselves out is truly AMAZING!
Mona-I’ll have to look at the 2005 road trip ‘handbook’ to see if I recognize you! LOL.
Kathy G-modifying IS allowed, even at road trips! LOL Take care of yourself…nice and easy! How did you hurt your knee? I’m curious, if you don’t mind my asking!
Tina-I’m nervous already! LOL. It’s funny….we’re adults and still have the feelings and nerves of school-age kids!
Kim-I should name my SON Crabyella! LOL. I like the name! As for WW, I LOVE the program. Flexible, effective, and so easy!
Jacque-I hope you enjoyed your rest day!!!! How often do you run???
OK...as for me. Yesterday closed out just wonderful. After dinner, I took the kids on bikes around the neighborhood then outside to play for the last hour of daylight. Older Ds and I played frisbee and we got in a great workout. He kept trying to make me miss the frisbee, but I kept running it down! LOL. Gotta make the kids think Mom's invincible, right? LOL
This morning's workout is DONE also! 7 miles on the TM with iTread 8 workout. Then the abs plus BONUS abs from B&G. That's 30 minutes worth of ab work! LOVE IT!
Today is going to be in the 70s and the school has 1/2 days all this week (younger DS has no Kdg this week), so we're planning lots of outside play!
Have an AWESOME day, everybody! BBl to catch up on you all!
