Road Trip Check In: Tuesday, April 17

Hi Roadtrippers. This morning was 10-10-10 with GS Back, then abs.

With all this talk about workout 'rags' I finally got out to Kohl's today to get some new sport bras. After so many washings, I found that a few of mine had lost most of their support. Question to the group: how much time do you get out of a sport bra before you have to toss it?
 
I, unfortunately, keep sports bras for years. However, in my case, support is not an issue (I am "skinnee" all over, esp. in the chest area!:-( )

Hello!!

I have been so busy and have not been able to check in for several days. I worked all weekend and didn't really have a chance to work out:( I also went to a friend's birthday party Sunday and had 2 pieces of cake:( :( It was so good though--it was peanut butter cake--YUM!! I got back on track Monday with the Gauntlet. Today was S&H chest and back followed by IMAX 3 (another IMAXer here today).

Laura...Yeah!!! Another Laura from Arkansas!!!!. I am so happy you know how to woopig!! When were you last in Arkansas and where did you grow up? Welcome to the check-in. It will be nice getting to know you before the trip. How awesome of your husband!!

Phyllis...That is a wonderful description of IMAX2. I am always so happy after I have finished that one.

Amy...I am currently reading Dr.Oz's book. So far so good!

Colleen...Did you have fun in Hot Springs? I love shopping in Dallas!

Robin and Phyllis...I have to do SB work first or it never gets done after all that lifting!!

TK...I think I would be embarrassed to admit how long I have had some of my sports bras!! I do toss some of my cheaper ones pretty early, but I hang on to Nike's and Sugoi's A LOT longer!

Josie...Another one here that keeps her sports bras a little too long. I am also "skinny" on top--I guess that means they last longer!!! I seriously need to updated my workout collection! I have cuter things for the gym, but I wear plastic shorts and sprots bras at home (for most of my workouts):eek:

I hope everyone one has a great day tomorrow!! I will be leaving for Kansas City to visit my sister before she moves to Chicago. I am excited because I downloaded my first iTreads! workouts tonight and plan on trying them out on her treadmill. We will see how it goes!!
 
Road Trip Check-in

Thankfully, this was an uneventful day. I slept much better last night. I still have a tickle in my throat, and I am very tired for some reason. I did the Body Max 2 cardio and weights premix again this morning after my quiet time. I love the choreography, but I started running out of steam during the last cardio segment. The fun music energized me, and I pushed through it.

My eating was clean again today. My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. Actually, I have only been eating one snack a day since I started this new rotation. I noticed that I do not get hungry until close to lunchtime, so I just started eating a little more at breakfast to tide me over until noon. I am also eating fruit with my lunch now. My daily intake is still the same. I am just eating 3 meals and an afternoon snack now instead of eating 5 times a day.
