What a gracious, stylish, talented and sophisticated lady she will always be! This news doesn't make me sad at all because in my eyes she led such a long and victorious life and lives on the in the many people whom she's creatively influenced.

I remember that episode when Ms. Horne was the guest. Too much fun, the image of her oozing grace and glamour in a junkyard setting was thoroughly amusing

I have fond memories of the best interview I believe I've ever seen - Ed Bradley with Lena Horne on 60 Minutes in 1982 or 1981 - she was 64 then. Here's a snippet of it (I wish I could find the whole thing - it was a masterpiece!) What a classy broad!
