I know what your thinking? !!! A Richard Simmons post?! Anyway, he was on the today show talking about PE classes. If you go to his website www.richardsimmons.com there is a link to email your local govt to get PE back in the schools on a daily basis. I have always supported this. When I was in school, we always had gym every day. My DS now has it once per week. Check it out if you are interested.

Alright, I wrote to my congressman! I totally support this - it always pains me to hear of public schools doing away with PE (and recess, and arts, etc).
