I remember when I got this last year I try it once and said this is to complicated for me so it sat on my tv entertaiment for a while:(. I started using this for a few monthes now I can't believe how much fun this is:D. It just makes me want to keep on dancing. What was I thinking. I did it this morning and want to do it again tomorrow. It makes you sweat and have fun at the same time. So who ever has this sitting on their shelf collecting dust don't give up and keep trying because once you get the moves down you will have a blast:).

I can remember when the Reebok Step Videos seemed complicated. Now when I see "challenging corepgraphy" to describe a workout, I say "bring it on!" It sure keeps a workout fun. I can't stand it when there is too much "tifting". I find now that I get bored too quickly. Kind of Like Kari's Hot Steps. I can barely get myself to do that workout because of the repitition. I think I've ony done that one about 5 times. Oh well!

RS is one of my favorites, too. In fact, I listed it in my Top 3! Once you get the moves down, the time really flies and it's so much fun!

Hi Barbara,

I tried RS once-maybe 15 or 20 minutes is all I did-the choreography was too much for me. Haven't touched it since then. I see so many posts about how fun it is that I may just have to take your advice and give it another try. For me, stepworks is really fun and I was able to pick it up fairly quickly, same with stepblast. Maybe the difference is I have stepblast on dvd which is very easy to slow down, replay etc. but my RS is a vhs. I'll give it another try or two.

Diana:)

Diana!!

I have this on dvd and never rewind but would just stop and watch them do the moves and continue on to the ones I knew. It took me about 5 times to really get it down pack:) Today was the first time that I finally got the one I think it is called the "tap 3 shuffle on the board" which took me forever to really learn this move. I actually almost trip because I was looking at the tv while trying to do this without looking where my feet were, LOL. I really think you will love this once you know all the moves, so don't give up:) Have fun:)

Now this is why I love the DVD Q's and Comments forum because I'm always reminded of workouts to dust off.:) Thanks Barbara.:)

RS is something I can actually do on the floor and still love. I'm working through some overuse and muscle imbalance in my knees right now, and can't do heavy-duty stepping like IMAX 2. RS would definitely get my heart rate up there even as I keep the moves low. I did this with SB recently and loved it.

I'm still trying to perfect my RS routine though. After so many tries, I still can't get it right.:)

Wow Barbara...I just did this one last night. I was thinking ok, what hasn't been used in ages and needs dusted....out came RS. I thought oh no I bet I've forgot all the cheography, but it went pretty smoothly. YES I do remember at the beginning it was a hard one to get down, but now its fun because Cathe doesn't do a lot of repetition.

I am patting myself on the back right about now. Not to brag, because I have no idea why this is, but I picked this one up with out much problem. Must be the Christy Taylor videos that prepared me for it since it was only my second Cathe step video. At first I remember it being a lot easier, but then once you get all the moves down. Look out! The sweat just pours off of you by the time you're done. I did this one last month I believe and forgot how tough it really is. I was thinking, oh, I'll just throw in RS and it'll be an easier day for me, I'm not up for all that jumping. Well, I was still working extremely hard, and breathing hard. So, maybe I should have taken it a step further down! Ha, ha! Like Keli Roberts or something, but I've done those ones since high school and after 10 years, they are rather, well, boring now.

Kathy, I want to pat myself on the back too. I haven't done step in years and years and have always considered myself to have 2 left feet. Recently bought a slew of Cathe videos and committed myself to learning them all. I hear lots of advice from seasoned steppers to start with Cathe's earlier step tapes, but I didn't have any of those so I began learning with All Step (which I hear is pretty difficult). When I got those moves down (it took me 4-5 attempts), I moved on to Rhythmic Step and I am just fine tuning my mistakes out now. But I've been having so much fun with them! I think the hardest step tape for me will be Step Blast...don't think I'm ready for that one yet, but I'm also doing well with IMAX2. So, there is hope even for 2 left feeters like me!

:) :)

Nice coincidence, I did this one this morning as well and had a great workout. I love the mambo/rock front back & an insole in combo 1 but love}( to hate}( the squat pendulum... in combo 3!! HELLO LEGSx( !!. Great cardio with great choreography, Cathe at her best!!!(IMHO):)

Take Care

I did rhythmic step yesterday and had a little trouble with the squat pendulum combo too. I fell down but landed on the "soft part". (have you heard that before?) Needless to say, I wasnt hurt!
