Rhea - March rotation

Rhea

Cathlete
Okay, new month here we go.

Started the Fat Blast rotation on Sunday.

Sun: Imax 3, segment #2 of Core Max (was a little tough to do after doing Hardcore Extreme #1 on Sat.)(tough on my knees that is)
Mon: MuscleMax
Tues: Kickmax is in rotation, but I may be limited by time and company coming tonight.

Did Low Max with added risers. Was dripping wet by the time I was done. Unfortunately, didn't have my "all" in it because of my stiff rhomboid. Now that stiffness has worked its way up to be more shoulder. x(

Today is 30 minute run, core segment and stretch segment, but I detest running, so I need to figure out what to sub.

Hi Rhea,

Just dropping by to say hi. Sounds like you are doing great! How'd the run go, by the way?

Well, I've finished three courses in the past 2 weeks -- 3 more to go and then deadline -- but you know what? Compared to the terrific schedule I'm keeping deadline is starting to look easy...:+

Have a great one!

:)

Okay, didn't do a 30 minute run. What I ended up doing was the warmup and the floor portion of MIC, also added the first segement of the hi/lo from SJP. Then did CoreMax #3, went outside and moved rock for an hour and then came inside and did StretchMax#1. Long afternoon.

Karen - so glad that you got a chance to visit. You are working so hard, wow. I'm now dealing with septic tank issues...eeww.

Today is MuscleMax. That's a fun one. I'm determined to keep up with this rotation.

Hi Rhea!

Hello! Hello! My outrageous schedule contines -- possibly for another few weeks...

Septic tank issues -- geez!;( At least I don't have that to contend with.

I'm going to try to get in hour long workouts again this week -- same schedule, but hopefully earlier to bed so I can get in a full hour. I missed that last week.

Have a great one.

Oops, haven't posted lately.

Friday ended up being stretch day. Did one of Cathe's stretches and then part of a yoga tape.

Sat was Muscle Max. Sun was Imax 3, about killed my knee that day.

Yesterday did Muscle Max. Was a bit tired, lowered the weight for my legs and my knee is great today. Today will be a rest day since it is time for massage!! whoo hoo. Can't wait.

Hope you are doing great and hanging in there Karen!

Hmm, this week not that good with the short time I had.

Tues was a day off because I had my normally scheduled massage.
Weds didn't get home from court until 7:00 p.m. Did only about 30 minutes of LowMax before husband got home, so had to quit.

Yesterday finally managed to get in full Low Max before rushing out the door. Today should be KickMax. I wish I had a rebounder for the higher impact stuff, knee would probably appreciate it.

Tomorrow I hope to get in Muscle Max before I take off for Redding.

Karen - you must be working hard! No posts from you. :-(

Hi Rhea!:)

Yeah, another busy week. But I finished another course -- only two more to go and then I can settle down to my writing and deadline and a visit with my daughter.

Sorry I've been off the loop for a bit, but the end of the crazy schedule is in sight, at least. Probably not more than another 1-2 weeks and then I can settle down with another crazy schedule, but since this one keeps me at home, I can visit more often.

Sorry your week hasn't worked out as well as it could with exercise -- somehow I keep the exercise going -- did Circuit Max today -- what a great exercise routine. Wow! Everytime I do that I sweat like crazy.

Hope your schedule settles down, as well.

Have a terrific day.:p

Been crazy here too. I haven't wanted to work out, so I'm on strike. I'm begininng to feel like working out, so I'm thinking I'll be starting up again today.

HI Rhea!

Well, I just went for it last week, put in the time and finished all those courses -- so that's 6 courses in 4 weeks. Of course one of them -- the first was one I'd been working on for a while.

Anyway, how are you doing now? My schedule goes now back to it's more normal hectic pace -- but at least I'll be home Monday through Friday, on schedule -- settling down to a deadline -- 2 1/2 months to write the next book. Did I say settling down?

So hope your day is going well. I managed to keep the workouts going, but had to do shortened ones. Really love the premixes on IMAX3 -- am going to check out LowMax and check out those premixes, as well. Plus, love the Calorie Killer with Nancy Tucker -- another short workout.

But hopefully it's back to full steam this week. As a reward, I was going to buy some workout equipment -- get a new body bar -- one that's a little heavier -- but when the store didn't have one, I bought some new workout clothes instead -- clothes I don't really need...

Have a great one, Rhea!:7

Wow Karen.... 2 1/2 months to write a book? Yikes.

Well, last week was a great week off. Finally got off my lazypants and started back up yesterday.

Sun: High Step Challenge
Mon: Low Max - got a great workout in. Burned 426 kcals; 1:12 time.

Hi Rhea,

Just had to come and have a peek at what you're doing. LowMax really burned those calories. I'm hoping to do it either this week or next -- it's a bit long and so I have to time it right.

Got myself a new body bar today -- as a reward for finishing my courses -- it's a heavier one than what I usually use -- I'll have to work up to it -- it's 15 lbs. Have been using an 8 lb. one -- and it's getting too light. Never thought I'd ever say that...;)

Have a great day tomorrow.:7

Hi Karen!

Yep, I just love Low Max. I'm actually a bit sore today from Low Max and the High Step Challenge the day before.

How do you like the bodybars? I was going to try them out, but they would be way too expensive for me to get (I would have to ship) From this forum, I found a very inexpensive clip type weights....actually the ones that Cathe uses in the videos....at Walmart.com. It cost me more to ship than to buy..go figure. Isn't it great when you can go up in weight? I've actually started to use the 15lb dumb-bell for some of the back work. A little too heavy, but 10 lb is to light for the back. I really should get some 12s, but I keep forgetting when I go to Reno. (Reno is the nearest large shopping area for me)

So what's in the next book? Oh, and what's a galley? I haven't had much time for pleasure reading lately. I have been reading Dr. Sears and been incorporating the changes in my diet. However, I confess, still haven't given up the caffiene. ;)

Well, off to the jail, oh joy.

Have a great day! Don't work too hard.

Hi Rhea,

I read your post in the Cathe column and thought -- oh, gee -- I just bought this body bar. But then, I'm sort of not shopping at WalMart anymore because of...well, because I read that they buy almost all their stuff from China, and I sort think that it may be cutting into the middle guy here in America -- could be wrong, too.

Anyway, a galley is something that comes from the publisher -- it's the printed copy -- only it has mistakes, which the author is supposed to catch. Actually don't have the galley yet -- have the copy edited manuscript at the moment. The new book's working title is Marietta and the Sprit Hawk -- I think -- like I said, I have to get down to work on it so I know it better.

Off to jail, huh? Sounds like work...

I'm going to have to get some more of Cathe's, too. I'm seriously looking at High Step Challenge. What do you think of it? I love Bootcamp and High Step Advanced. How do you think they compare?

Anyway, gotta go and get a workout in yet today. I've left it a bit long.

Have a great evening.:7

OOh Karen, You will love High Step Challenge. Its more endurance challenge than anything. Endurance for every muscle, including a bit cardio. Circuit training like the others, but I think Boot Camp is probably harder, only because of the tough cardio. Cardio is not super tough in the HSC. ( gotta love those terminators!) Not so many leg presses either! I really like the workout. It's on my rotation twice this week.

Darn it, no workout yesterday. But today, I'm determined to fit it in.....court will be over...that is my hope. New Cathes coming today.

Hi Rhea,

I know -- don't you just hate those days when you can't fit in a workout. Okay, so I'm going to have to get HSC -- I can see that right now. Like I said, I love Bootcamp and High Step Advanced. Did Muscle Max today for the first time -- it was good -- a bit like my favorite Muscle Endurance -- ME is probably still my favorite, but I noticed that Muscle Max has a TimeSaver edition -- I'm going to do that on days when I just can't fit in a workout longer than an hour.

Anyway hope you have a great one.

I'm back to work. Got all my email and snail mail attended to and so am off and away. Researching the Assiniboine tribe right now -- that's the tribe I'm going to write about -- and don't know much about them -- will do research as I write -- I was going to switch it to the Blackfeet cause I know lots about them, but upon second thought decided to keep it with the Assiniboine.

Have a great one.:7

Darn it, no workout again. Court wasn't over until 5:30 and had a meeting at 7:00 to get to. So, today will be it! Just don't know what I want to do since I have 2, well, actually 3, new DVDs to choose from. :7

Hi Rhea!

Hope you were able to fit in a workout today. I posted something to your site here this morning, but for some reason it didn't take. Probably I pushed the wrong button.:+

Anyway, hope you're doing well. Things are good here -- working, too. But you seem really busy nowadays.

Have a good one.
