Results for the guys?

In a nutshell, I like STS. This is the first time I've worked out using Cathe DVDs. I usually go to a gym or exercise though sports. I usually don't do coordinated cardio workouts. But my wife is a Cathe fan so when STS came out with heavy weight workouts and men included in the video I thought I'd try it. I had to get used to using Balls and Bands in a weight workout. The STS workouts also have a more reps that I would normally do.

I mostly workout to get in shape for the sports that I like, biking, skiing, golfing. I think STS is an excellent strenth training tool. I like the moves Cathe encorporates into your basic weight lifting exercises that hit the muscle heads in different ways, such as using balls, bands and plates. I also like the cardio component you get from working at higher reps.

This week I completed the first week of meso2 and boy my legs and arms are SORE! But thats a good thing :) Even though I'd worked a weight lifting program before I had never worked my legs and arms like STS with heavy weights! I look foward to the strength and overall performance gains. I've can already see the difference in my arms and chest muscles and I've lost 8lbs, though I attribute the weight loss mostly to eating cleanly.

Thanks kplv2ski. I'm so glad to hear that you are enjoying the program. It sounds like it is working very well for you.

Men and women have the same muscles, and the program is customizable, so there's no reason that men could not benefit equally from the program (or more, just because you put on muscle faster). I often wonder what kind of results I would get if I were a man. Darn this lack of testosterone!

The avatar critter is a naked mole rat. Many people think it's kind of hideous, but I think it's cute. :)
