In a nutshell, I like STS. This is the first time I've worked out using Cathe DVDs. I usually go to a gym or exercise though sports. I usually don't do coordinated cardio workouts. But my wife is a Cathe fan so when STS came out with heavy weight workouts and men included in the video I thought I'd try it. I had to get used to using Balls and Bands in a weight workout. The STS workouts also have a more reps that I would normally do.
I mostly workout to get in shape for the sports that I like, biking, skiing, golfing. I think STS is an excellent strenth training tool. I like the moves Cathe encorporates into your basic weight lifting exercises that hit the muscle heads in different ways, such as using balls, bands and plates. I also like the cardio component you get from working at higher reps.
This week I completed the first week of meso2 and boy my legs and arms are SORE! But thats a good thing
Even though I'd worked a weight lifting program before I had never worked my legs and arms like STS with heavy weights! I look foward to the strength and overall performance gains. I've can already see the difference in my arms and chest muscles and I've lost 8lbs, though I attribute the weight loss mostly to eating cleanly.
