Good grief! That's your REST week rotation? Wow! All I did was some step cardio and yoga on alternating days!

Your rotation wears me out just looking at it! LOL!

I'm trying to get down 20+ #, so I can't go too light. I'm just not doing weights except for light weights with the firm w/o's.
Yoga feels great and I am now doing that daily, so that I don't really count as a w/o.
I almost couldn't do my 3rd one tonight, but just finished and feel great now. I always feel good after I start....it's the getting started sometimes.

I understand that "getting started" feeling all too well! I did my first yoga during my rest week! It showed me just how little flexibility I have! I'm hoping that if I continue with it, that will improve!

I barely have time to get one workout in a day, but I make sure it's a good one!

Enjoy your rest week!

The more you do it, the more flex you will become. Everyone's flexibility is different.
I have this much time to w/o now b/c I am unemployed. After I was laid off I took this opportunity to just go for it, like I'm on the biggest loser or something. But once I'm working again, I would love to get 2 in (1 am and 1 after work) but def 1 a day and more on wkends. - Autumn

I am strongly considering ordering STS strength, so I am glad to see your recovery workouts listed.

I'm in recovery right now (from other workouts), and I'm doing Athletic Step, from the Shock Cardio series, and some Rodney Yee and P90X yoga workouts. But seeing the number of workouts that you're doing each day makes me wonder if I could step it up just a touch, too. I certainly would like to.

It's interesting to me that you're doing so many workouts during your recovery week. Is this your typical recovery-type schedule?

This is my first real recovery week, so I'm still trying to ascertain exactly what my body responds best to during this time. Like you, I've still got some weight to lose, so I really would like to be a little more aggressive with my workouts during this time.

Your input is appreciated. :)

You see, I'm unemployed at this time, and so I have the extra time on my hands, and trying to get into my suits, I'm want to get to my goal weight by spring/early summer. I don't think it's necessarily advised to do as much during the recovery faze, but I don't want to do too little. I do 20 - 40 min yoga routines sometimes right after a cardio session, so I don't count the 2nd w/o really. But the evening workout is b/c I am less active in the evenings. I am afraid to do too little. I've done just 1 w/o in the past and it was not active enough during the day (when I was working mainly) and didn't loose, but maintained. My biggest problem is calorie intake. I am trying hard with that, but it's a constant battle. If it were nice out, I would probably do some outdoor workouts and hikes but it's way too cold now -But for now, I have to pump the cardio up to keep the weight coming off. Hope that helps. I orig. posted this to see what others were doing for their week, to see if I'm the only crazy one. I figure if aerobic instructors can do a bunch of classes a day, I can do this :)

Yeah, I sometimes struggle with calorie intake, too. I haven't lost any weight so far on my recovery, but I was losing consistently when I was working out. So I'm ready for my recovery to be over, but my body still wants a few more days of rest.

Thanks for you input! :D
