Lately I have posted on how i have not been enjoying my workouts, have cut back to 3 days per week, and haven't been able to get up at 5 a.m. Well, i spent the weekend analyzing my attitude and frankly have come to the confussion that it sucks! I have been so focused on negative thinking that its causing me to backslide and sabbotage my efforts to be healthy. So i have decided to recommit to myself. Just this change in midset has made me feel better. This morning I got up at 5a.m. and got my 45 minutes circuit workout in. I took the intensity down a notch as i felt like when i was doing only 3 workouts per week i would push so hard that i often felt sick and weak after my workouts and not energized. I also decided to order all 3 jillian micheals workout dvds. I love circuit work and have preveiwed her workouts. So my new routine is as follows:
monday: circuit
tuesday: 45 min cardio
wednesday: circuit
thursday: 45 min cardio
friday: circuit
sat and sun: off
I'm working out for my health and wellbeing. I noticed when i decreased to 3 workouts per week i was grumpy and tired and it made me not want to workout on those days b/c i pushed so hard since i was only going to be working out for 3 days. I feel so good right now. So this is my recommitment to myself
monday: circuit

sat and sun: off
