I'm with the others. I use organic coconut oil exclusively on my body (and face). Your skin stays hydrated alllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day long. And yes, it's a bit greasy going on but soaks in quickly. Careful around the hair line cos it can get in your hair (which isn't a bad thing - in fact - it's great for your hair as a treatment) and leave your bangs looking greasy. I've used grapeseed oil recently too on my body for lotion.
I just posted on my daily check in about oil pulling using organic coconut oil. Look it up if you have a chance. I've been doing it the last 7 days. It's interesting how instantly pure white it makes your teeth.

I have been oil pulling at night only while watching coronation street. It's best first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I have been doing it at night a few hours after eating dinner 'cos I work out in the a.m. and just cannot add another thing at that time. That said, I oil pulled this a.m. while getting dressed for myworkout and while walking the dog. You do it for 20 minutes. I gotta admit - I had soooooooooooooooo much extra energy this morning. I did Tabatacise! It was great and my teeth are looking whiter than white!!!! Who needs to pay for whitening when you can oil pull! Oh and my sinuses this morning were soooooooooo clear! it's interesting stuff.
LOVE THIS FORUM!!!!
So I am thinking my mom really needs to do the oil pulling. Her cancer has come back with a vengeance....multiple locations. Anyway, they are putting her on a new chemo drug. She was on Sutent, had really bad side effects. This new one also has side effects that are supposed to be bad, one of them is mouth sores. I am thinking this might actually help! She got them with the last drug and it was really bad! I love the idea of natural healers....and I truly believe that coconut oil is the best for everything!!!!
BTW, I did the oil pulling today....I will continue.
Sending positive, healing thoughts to your mom, Jenn.
I also did oil pulling this morning, and plan to continue to do it once daily.
Are the sores from thrush? Gymnema helps with fungal infections but it does drive blood sugar down a bit so watch for that.
Wow! I've been involved in alternative health for almost 40 years and never heard of oil pulling. The things we learn. For those who have done this, have you noticed other health benefits? The website below mentions other things it can help with. What amount of time are you doing it for? I know 20 minutes is recommended but I have so much stuff to do to maintain health that adding something else in leaves me about 3 1/2 hours to sleep!

Sorry to the OP. Don't mean to be diverting from your original request but because of your post, others are being helped in other ways. That's one of the reasons why I love this forum!!!
