Quit Your Moanin'!!!

The title of this post is brought to you today by Cathe Friedrich and the workout Higher Intensity Step.

I found it to be appropriate in reference to the abundance of misery, nitpicking, and whining that has been on the forums lately.

So please, people. Quit your moanin'!!!! Just be glad you're alive to see another day.

Thank you. Have a loverly evening. :)

Allison

Amen and amen. Thank you Allison.

"Oh, hey Pluto. Hi. Boy, it must be fun to work here... although, the biggest drawback to working at a theme park is that you must live under constant fear of deathly terrorist attacks."
Waaah-waaah-waaaaaah!

BTW...this is totally lost on you if you don't know the SNL skit but please...don't complain ;-)

*walks into thread totally oblivious about the said "moaning"*

Who moaned? Who whined? Whats up?? I wanna know too!!Whaaa...oh, maybe its me!}(

I thought part of a forum was to be able to express concerns. I didn't see anything blatantly mean. Just people expressing their feelings. If anything, it's proof positive how much we all love Cathe cardio. If it was the other way around, and people were disappointed she was only doing cardio workouts, I wouldn't be upset over people expressing how they felt, I would just read it and move on.;-)

My dad always says "Today might be your very last day here, how do you want to spend it". I think this has always helped me to stay in a postive mood. Of course subject to change at any moment during one week a month, but typically I stay in a good mood. If I happen to go in the next moment I at least want to be happy when I go.

Allison:

I have no idea what you are referring to. It seems to me that in fact it has very much been a case of "business as usual." The amount of commentary that proliferates when a new series is announced is always high. There are always supporters and detractors. That doesn't constitute whining. And as far as the multitude of questions flying around and the depth of uncertainty some people feel, they are entitled to them: personally $200 for a series is a huge load of money for some of us. So, we want to make sure we know what we are getting. Stands to reason.

Some could say, in fact, that your post constitutes whining!

And thanks, I am very glad to be alive today!

Clare

I think we all probably have a different opinnion of what "whining" is and a different breaking point as to how much "whining" we can handle.

Allison's post did not come off as whining to me but another recent post in OD did come off that way as well as a few others since STS was announced.

Perhaps we just need to learn to be a little more tolerant of one another, whiners and non-whiners included!;)

Have a great evening!:+

Edited for typos.

Uh, maddiesmum? If you looked on the "Ask Cathe" thread under the misspelled 'I'm Offended", you would come to understand that the "moaning" was about a quote by a woman named Alice Walker that someone had placed in her post.

It had nothing to do with the new series at all. Now play nice and tell Allison you are sorry, or I will have to turn you over my knee!;) :7

Sheesh lets all take a "chill pill" or better yet, drinks are on me everyone!!:+ :+
