Quick Leg Workout

Hello.
I am looking for a really good leg workout that is about 20-30min. I don't have much time in the morning and am looking to try to fit a little of everything in. I have just about all of Cathe's workouts and I'm sure there has to be some really good premixes out there that I am just not aware of.

Do you have any knee or other issues that need to be considered? Preference or dislike of certain workouts? Can't stand step, kick boxing, or can't get enough?

Can you give an example of a type workout that is challenging enough for your legs?

What are your goals for your legs? Maintenance? Ripped Quads? Losing inches?

I don't have the details of specific premixes, many other cathletes can chime in for that, but since leg w/o is pretty much all I'm interested in most of the time, I'm sure we can come up with something that will help :)
 
I'm glad you asked this, it's an issue for me too.
I'm thinking I'm either going to have to lift really heavy, or do high intensity w/o like plyo.
My main goal is losing inches, with the longer term goal of building the strength and getting a tiny bit of definition in my legs.

No - no issues with anything. I like a variety of workouts from heavy weights to tubing. I'm open to any suggestions really. I find Turbo Barre challenging as well as Butts & Guts. I think all of Cathe's legs are pretty challenging. I can say I don't like alot of repitition. Thanks for helping!
 
These are my fav. and they are all short:


High Reps- Lower Body Only Premix= 34 Min
GS legs - Timesaver #1 = 32 Min
MM - lower body only = 23 min
Body Blast SS+PP - #12 lower body blast = 33 min
ME - #4 Lower body split = 39 min
4DS legs

I like to add Floor Work only premixes to some workouts - All are way under a half-hour:

Butts/Guts
Legs/Glutes
Gym Style Legs

I will also mention Pauline Nordine's the Lower Body Butt Bible (levels 1 and 2 - 20 and 30 mins) but those exercises are very repetitive.
 
Lower Body Blast has great premixes. The other day I did the floor work + barre and it came in at around the 30min mark.
It's a goodie :eek:.

I've got to put in a plug for Leaner Legs. If you do just the legs and skip the abs at the end I think it's only about 35 minutes.

Legs & Glutes #11 legs & Glutes Standing =39 min.
#12 Floorwork only = 11 min
#13 Ankle weight Exercises = 21 min

Hello, all

I have a right knee issue, and the patella does not track correctly sometimes. When I work out, I wear a McDavid knee brace, and I think this is the best knee brace around. You can buy it on Ebay for less.

The quickest leg workout is the 23 minute portion of Muscle, and I use it when I am pressed for time. Lower Body Blast is also great, but the shortest premix is over 50 minutes. I am going to try the leg portion of High Reps today.

When I belonged to a gym, there was a 65 year old woman who had braces on both of her knees. She is still able to run the NYC marathon.
