Questions about taking Prednisone

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It's helped tremendously to hear about other people's experiences with Prednisone since I thought I had been imagining these side effects! It was a GP at Urgent Care who gave me the prescription, but now at least my doctor knows what's going on since I spoke to her nurse yesterday. I still have another couple of weeks to wait until my Orthopedics appointment, and it'll be nice to get to the bottom of what's going on with my knee.

I'm so glad to hear that things finally returned to normal for you! Heart issues are always scary, and that must have been so frightening to have had those palpitations for so long. Glad you're back to normal!

I had thought about calling the pharmacist, but wasn't sure if they could actually give any advice over the phone.

They should be able to at least discuss your side effects with you over the phone and perhaps they could have called your doctor on your behalf-- that's a key function of a pharmacist that we often overlook since we're just tired of waiting in line at the pharmacy!
