Often I see questions that interest me as far as seeing the response. Since I am not the one posting is there a way to get an e-mail notification sent to me. I hope that makes sense. Also, what is bumping?

Just to save Cathe time:
1) If you want an email notification every time there is a reply to that particular post, you click on the "subscribe to this topic" (in blue) showing just above the top of the message (just below the subject). The system will send you an email everytime there is a response to the post (whether it is Cathe responding or someone else).
2) When someone replys to a post, it pushes it to the top of the list. When someone bumps, they do a quasi reply, with nothing in it, to take the message to the top of the list. They do this in hopes that Cathe will see the post because it is near the top.
When I subscribe to a topic, I don't receive an email. I thought that there would be a place under user profile to enter my email address, but I am not seeing it. Where do I find this information?
Sara
It will be sent to the email address you used when you registered. If your email address has changed, go to "user menu" and then select "edit your preferences". Then choose "edit your account information" and change your email address to your new one.
Thank you so much!! I don't know what happened, but when I turned on my computer this morning, I had emails about topics that I had subscribed to!! Have a great day!
