Question for those who do one body part per day!

I am trying very hard to find a rotation that will incorporate more cardio to facilitate some fat loss.

I do NOT want to lose the muscle mass that I have obtained, and in fact, would like to continue to build on this. (definitely).

I am interested in those who say they work heavy weights, one body part each day. Are you able to make muscle mass gains doing each body part only once per week? Also, do most of you do them together or split the workouts between a.m. and p.m.?

I am trying to build mass, so I am not sure if working my shoulders (for example) only once per week would do this.

Thanks!

I've just started incorporating one body part a day with cardio. I really like it so far. I would say that I'm making muscle gains since I'm doing so much of it and still staying at Cathe's weight (or higher sometimes!).

My rotation is like this:
Day 1: Legs; SH, PS, PLB ball.
Day 2: Chest; PS, SH
Day 3: Back; PS, SH, MIS
Day 4: Biceps; PS, SH, PUB
etc.
I'm also doing 20 minutes of abs afterward and cardio at night. I split my workouts up for 2 reasons, one is time and the other is hunger. I lift in the morning, and after an hour plus, I would be too hungry to continue w/ cardio. I'm one of those who cant eat before stepping and jumping around, and dont want to eat as soon as I get out of bed.
