Question for Christi fans!

RE: Christi Taylor Hi-Lo Recommendations

I have Totally Hot Cardio, Totally Cool Step and the Fantastic Four.

Fantastic 4 is my favorite and I highly recommend.

RE: Christi Taylor Hi-Lo Recommendations

Hi there,

Wow, lots of action while I was out of town!

Let's see here.

Brendazzzz - I got Happy Hour High Low a year or more ago through Collage on a DVD called TERRIFIC TRIO. I notice now that Collage no longer has it, and that even Christi's site doesn't have it. Maybe you could try yahoo? I have only tried this cardio of Christi's so I have nothing to compare it to, but imagine an outdoor basketball court somewhere in Philadelphia where a bunch of cool street kids are practicing a jump rope routine. That's the best I can describe it. It's really fun even just to watch. As for being brave enough - let me tell you, I've always thought I hated dancey-type, choreographed cardio...it took a bunch of tries to get it down (and I can only do the first half of it so far), but it's been so fun trying to get these steps down that I literally can't stop thinking about it all the time and trying to figure out when I can next try it out! Totally not me!! Now, I have not tried out Steppin' Zone, but let me kind of warn you that it looks very dated and rather um, I don't know how to put it without sounding politically incorrect - I thought Happy Hour was so friggen cool that I showed a bunch of my friends the workout. By mistake I cued it up to Steppin' Zone first and was kind of embarrassed at the um, not-street feel...but I haven't done it yet, so who am I to judge by just by the look of it?

Anyway, I did make my order. I ended up getting :

Cardio Collectables
Fantastic Four
Humble Beginnings
FunkTional Fitness
Totally Hot Cardio

I'm totally excited to try them out!

Thanks again for all the help, everyone.

RE: Christi Taylor Hi-Lo Recommendations

Brenda, I got my copy awhile ago from Christi's site, I think.

Quite honestly, I don't see alot of differences in Christi's style through the years. I do note some workouts are more complex than others, but the overall "feel" of her work does not change that much from one workout to the next. Perhaps the music is more of a factor here than what Christi actually does. Her more recent workouts use more familiar hits and so forth, maybe that is the explanation of more of a "street" feel.

JMO.
