Question about next rotation.

Hello all!

I am currently working through the beginner rotationa and loving it! :) I am trying to figure out where to go next. I am new to Cathe so the only DVD's I have are the beginner ones. I looked at the intermediate rotation and CRIKEY! that's a lot of videos! Can anyone suggest a good next step rotation that only involves a few videos?

TIA!

Becca

Hey Becca, you could also use the Ultimate Guide to help you select alternative workouts that you have, and that are similar, for the ones you don't own. You could also start to build up your Cathe library with a few workouts that seem to get used quite a bit in Cathe's rotations. Have fun! Deb

Becca,

I would pick a rotation based upon your goals and then just sub for the DVDs you don't have. That's what I did until I built up my workout DVD library. Now I have lots of choices. :) Oh, and when I first started with Cathe, I didn't limit myself to beginner workouts only -- I did many of the advanced DVDs but modified the exercises or took extra breaks as I built up my strength and endurance.

I have the beginner DVD's: Basic Step + Body Fusion, Low Impact Step and Total Body Stretching. I also ordered Drill Max, Body Max 2, Butts and Guts and Low Impact Circuit.

Is the 4DS a good next step or is it too advanced? I did the first 30 min of BM2, just the step segments, today and found that to be a bit too challenging yet.

Thanks a bunch!
~Becca:)

4DS is definitely too advanced especially the step footwork. When I first started doing Cathe workouts, my next purchase was Cardio and Weights/IMAX2. I think that would be a good next step for you to start with. After that something like Muscle endurance, Muscle Max or Pyramids may be a good next purchase. A great non step cardio is Kick Punch and Crunch or Bootcamp (the original) both my favorites. Preview all the dvd's before you buy and definitely read some of the feedback on these forums.

What are you fitness goals? Good luck.

For a rotation you could try something like this:

Day one: Cardio
Day two Total Body
Day three Cardio
Day Four: total body
Day Five Cardio
Day Six Total Body
Day Seven Rest/Stretch

My goals are primarily weight loss, about 15 pounds. After that, just general health and well-being.

Thank you so much for your help and suggestions. I really appreciate it!
