question about multiple workout days

Hi Cathe or anyone else who can answer my "dumb" question. I have just started the body blast rotation on Sunday and have noticed that in the weeks to come, there are two workouts on some days. For example, in the third week on Wed, I'm supposed to do KPC and SJP. My question is am I supposed to do these workouts back-to-back or am I just supposed to be sure to fit them both in on the same day, even if one is in the morning and one is in the afternoon? I know this is a basic question, but I realize that each rotation is set to work your muscles in a certain order and fashion, so I want to be sure to get the max benefit from the rotation!!! Thanks a lot for any input!:7

Ashley,

Where did you find this rotation? Could you post a link and maybe someone could answer your question. I'm SURE that KPC and SJP would not be expected to be done in their entirity on the same day. Either the rotation was suggesting it as an either/or situation, or perhaps there were sections of each one to do together.

Those two workouts are both lengthy, and you'd be putting well over two hours of exercise!

Ashley, it's me again,

Is this the rotation you're referring to?

If so, it is portions of both workouts, and generally they are supposed to be done all in one workout "session". However, if you are like me and can only squeeze in a half hour here, and a half hour there... then break it up through the day. But you'll have to improvise with your own warm up or cool down if done in two sessions.

It is only the warm-up and step portion of SJP (about the first 20 mins. of the workout. You wouldn't do the hi-low or weights that follow the step routine.) Then, you would segue into the kick/punch intensity portion of KPC. (the last portion of that workout and the ab section at the end). She's not saying do both in their entirety, just portions of both combined to give you a great workout.

From Cathe's rotation:
"Warm up and step only of SJP and the kick punch combinations and abs only of KPC"

Diane: Yes, that's the rotation that I have, but I think that I got mine at fitnessvideofanatics.com and it didn't specify sections. It just had both workouts listed!!! I'm glad to hear this b/c I have to admit that I was a bit intimidated. While I love KPC, it can absolutely wear me out!! Thanks a lot for the info!!

Whew!!!

Ya, I just looked it up at fitnessvideofanatics.com. I think they must have been in a hurry printing that up or ran out of space! You'd be mopping up the floor with me after doing back-to-back Cathes. Pretty intense as is.

Hi ladies!

Thanks for pointing out the error to me! I'll get it fixed tonight!

Hope I haven't sent anyone to the hospital :(
