Question About Low Impact Step DVD

Can anyone tell me what size step Cathe uses in the Low Impact Step DVD. This is my first Cathe DVD and I LOVE it, but I feel like my step is a little wide. Can anyone help? TIA!

Just a visual reference on my part. You can tell the difference between the Cardio Club step and the Original Health Club step based on the the risers.
She and I use the same step, and that's the one that I have.

However, both boards are 40x14 (you can find that measurement in the equipment descriptions here on the site). So if you have either of those, you should be using the same size board as she is.

Thanks Again

Thanks again for your reply. I have a 40" step, but it seems a little wide for some of the steps (like triples around and doing abduction repeaters alternately on either side of the step). Also, during the stretching, their legs are about as far apart as the length of their steps, my step is longer than my feet are separated. Since I'm new at this I thought that maybe the moves were a little awkward for me since I'm just learning, but I also wanted to make sure I wasn't "forcing it" on a step that's a little too long.

This may seem like a stupid response, but do you have short legs?
I have similar challenges to yours (particularly jumping from side to side length-wise), but I've always figured it's just because they have longer and stronger legs than me.

Just a thought.

Not A Funny Question...

I thought of that myself as well, but, no I don't have short legs and the one girl in the dvd seems to be very small. I also thought that I remembered somewhere on the dvd where Cathe said not to use more than 1 riser (6" total) for this dvd. I haven't had time to find it though.

Thanks So Much!

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond! Someone gave me the bigger step that I'm using now, so I don't mind buying the smaller one even if there's only one dvd that uses it. I love this workout. It's the first time in my life I've done any step aerobics, and even if it gets too "easy" (like after my baby is born...right now I'm breathing hard!) I can always do it for a light day. Again, thanks SO much! :)
