Question about cell phone bill

You know what is funny. I asked a friend who has T-Mobile and he said that his online bill shows the number of the incoming calls too. I called Sprint PCS customer service and they said that no cellular company shows the incoming calls for security reasons. I said "I just talked to a friend and they get the numbers on their bill." The lady said, "That can't be right, did you actually see the bill yourself." I said "no but he just told me so why would he say that if it didn't show it on his bill." The lady kept saying that no company does that but yet you say Cingular shows it too. I don't get it, I guess I'll call customer service again and try to talk to someone else.

Can you go online and see it? I have sprint but I'm not sure. I never look at the bill. Dh works for Sprint so my bill is the same amount no matter how many minutes I use. I can ask him about it later. Don't know if he can answer cuz he works on computer stuff. But I'll check for ya.

Another Cingular customer here. All of my cell phone bills list both outgoing calls AND incoming calls. Each outgoing call listing shows the city and number to which the call was made, as well as the duration of the call. Each incoming call listing shows "Incoming Cl" and the number called from, as well as the duration of the call. Very detailed. I don't understand why Sprint wouldn't do that. "Security reasons" doesn't make any sense, b/c when someone calls you on your cell phone the number of the caller shows up on your phone and is then entered into the call log on your cell phone. A few times I have received a call showing the caller as "Private," so I assume there is a way for the individual caller to block his/her number for security reasons.
I would suggest that the next time you call Sprint, you keep going up the chain of command until you speak with someone who will answer your question.

Cingular customer here. Not only are incoming calls listed, I can sign onto my account on-line and see the list of outgoing and incoming calls not yet billed. I am also in the telecommunications software business that produces bills and it sounds to me like you got an unknowledgable person and you should press the point.
