Good Morning PYGFOers!

Today was Tracey's Step Sweatfest, but I only got through 45 min. and ran out of steam. I may be dehydrated. Just no energy!:-( Then I did Stretch Max #2. Tomorrow I will start Cathe's November rotation.

Michelle--Did you end up doing BM2? I love sleeping later on Sat.!

I just ordered the BSN Lean Protein Powder after reading all about it on the other thread. Sounds yummy!

Yes, I did BM2, and am now sitting here in my sweat drenched clothes, sipping on my chocolate fudge with banana protein shake...mmmmm, yummy!:p
So, what flavor or flavors did you order?

Where is everyone on the weekends?:eek:
Today I started the Nov. rotation with HIS/Chest and Back and tacked on KB abs. When I previewed the C&B portion, the 68!! pushups scared me, but I am so happy to say that I did them all!:7 }( :7

Yesterday I felt so puny after doing Step Sweatfest, I thought maybe I was dehydrated. I ended up drinking 8 cups of water and then had to get up 5 times in the night. TMI?? But, hopefully I'll feel better today. I loved the extra hour of sleep!

Michelle--I ordered the chocolate and the cinnamon flavors of the protein power...can't wait! Enjoy the 15 loads of laundry!;-) What 90 min. mish-mosh did you choose?

Gin, Is that how many push ups are in the c&b portion?? WOW!
<~~is not a big fan of push ups. I think you will really like the chocolate protein powder, I know I do:p Did you feel better after drinking some water, I mean besides the up and down all night?:)

I ended up doing B&G and HIS, clocked in at 102 min. I did the HIS after B&G, and my legs were just a shakin'!}( :D

Maybe we will have a better turnout on our check in next week?

Off to finish folding clothes now.....:-(
 
Hi Michelle and Gin and anyone else who stops by. Yesterday I got up early and did Amy Bento ASC2. It was a real challenge, after giving blood Friday afternoon. Then DH and I went over to Scranton for a fun visit with DS. The organization that runs his home has an annual Halloween Party and lots of parents come. It's nice to see the residents and talk to their families. Then we did some shopping. DS has lost enough weight, he needed new pants, AGAIN. After dinner out, it was back home. We've been running like crazy today. DH and I are in charge of setting up and cleaning up communion at church. Then we had some errands to run on the way home. I just got done doing 4DS double cardio premix. I'm pooped. I'm going to start the Nov rotation tomarrow, with some additional cardio on the rest or stretch days. See you then.

I am STILL sick!! I just can't get over these allergies. I have already had about every intervention there is. It had been a month since I have been able to breathe. I am so tired of this!!
I managed DM today. It was a challenge though. I just wasn't motivated and I couldn't breaathe very well. I love that workout though.

Michelle...I did enjoy the football game yesterday. The Hogs beat South Carolina, and Darren McFadden is back in the runnung for the Heisman. I did not enjoy the NFL game as much. The Colts lost to the Pats. I kind of expected it though. I would rather lose during the season than during the playoffs. Hopefully, they will meet again!! I have been meaning to order (or buy) the BSN protein powder. What flavor is your favorite? Sounds like a good workout today. I hope to incorporate B&G in sometime this week.

Gin...I also loved the extra hour of sleep. That is probably the longest amount of time I have slept in a very long time. I love the extra hour, but I can't stand it getting dark so late. I just want to stay inside and wear my sweats!! I hope you enjoy your new BSN protein powder.

Robin...What did you think of ASC2? I have previewed it, but not tried it yet. It looked like a lot of turns, but I guess I won't truly know until I try it. I hope to try them out later this week. Did you order any of the other ones?

I hope you all have a great Monday. I work late tomorrow and it will be very dark when I get home. I hope I can motivate myself to do a workout when I get home. We will see!!

I packed up my scale, stored it in a closet, and started Cathe’s November rotation this morning. Yippee! This is my first Cathe rotation, and I am so excited! These workouts are a joy and delight to experience, and I want to have fun and enjoy the journey instead of stressing about my weight. I smiled the whole time I was dancing around my step during HIS this morning. These workouts make me so happy! Other than Cathe’s Friday morning step class and the Road Trip, I have not been this excited about my fitness journey in a long time. I cannot wait for morning to get here so I can have fun with Kickbox again!

Since this series focuses on heavier weights and less cardio, I decided to modify my way of eating by increasing my protein and decreasing my starchy carbs slightly. The way I was eating was great for Cathe’s longer and more intense cardio and circuit workouts, but my body may need different fuel for these workouts. This way of training is radically different than anything I have tried before, so it makes sense that my nutrition needs to change with it.

I have faith that Cathe’s rotation as designed with all the stretching and rest days will result in strength and fitness gains. I am definitely planning to enjoy the double cardio premix on the optional cardio days just to get my cardio fix! I did the weights first premixes the first week and the premixes for a 3-day split last week. I decided to do the workouts as produced this month. I enjoyed HIS more this way. I prefer fasted cardio but need fuel before weight workouts. I did the warm-up and step segment this morning, took a quick break for part of a hemp protein smoothie, completed the weight segment and stretch, and enjoyed the rest of the smoothie after my workout. I had more energy for a better cardio workout this way and was surprised to discover that I was able to lift heavier weights because I was all filled up with warm fuzzies from the step workout! Yippee! Cardio first for me!
