Today I think I will do DM and maybe B&G. I may change my mind, but I love those 2 workouts----maybe it will help me forget that the new ones haven't arrived yet.

Michelle...I can't wait to try that premix!! Have fun with BC.

Good Morning!

Today was a rest day so I did Baron Baptiste's Core Power Yoga. Only 25 min.!! I still haven't done any of the new Cathes, but plan to work them into my rotation next week.

Carolyn--Enjoy KB. Let us know what you think. It looks like a lot of fun and I remember so much from the RT! Congrats to the football team!

Lara--You must be feeling better. So glad! Enjoy DM and B&G. When are supposed to get your new workouts?

Here is my High Fiber - Low Fat Pancake recipe again.

1 c. low fat buttermilk
1/2 c. quick cooking oats
2/3 c. wheat bran
1/4 c. egg substitute (I use egg whites)
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
2 packets splenda
3/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt

Combine the buttermilk, oats and bran in a large bowl. Let stand for 5 min. Add the egg and beat until blended. In a small bowl, mix whole wheat flour, Splenda, baking soda and salt until blended. Add to the bran mixture and blend. Prepare a hot skillet or griddle with nonstick spray. Pour in 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top and edges are dry. Turn and cook about 1-2 min. more.
Serves: 4 (2 pancakes each)

Calories: 107 Fat: 1 Fiber: 6 WW pts.: 1

I double the recipe when I make them and keep them in the freezer and just pop in microwave for 40 seconds. Enjoy!

WOW!! Kick boxing was a blast. It definitely brought back memories of the Road Trip:p :p It was hard but tons of fun. The leg workout was a killer. I'm sure I won't be able to walk tomorrow..

What does everyone else think of the new dvd's? Can't wait for the rotation next month..

I love these new workouts! I just finished BC, that was FUN!! Each of the drills take your breath away. If your long legged like me, you will defiantly need a little more room.:) For the bi's/tri's I need to buy heavier weights. The hanging side concentration curls I lifted the heaviest I have ever done for biceps:7

Gin, thank you for reposting the recipe.:) I wrote it down and put it right into my book so I wont lose it this time.I found out how to make buttermilk, so I don't always have to have it on hand...to 1 cup milk add 1T. lemon juice, leave for 5 min then use.

Hey everyone!

Just a quick check in in-between getting ready to leave for the cruise.

I taught class this morning, then this evening I did the UB premix (exept shoulders, I did that yesterday) on the 4DS. Felt great. The only thing I can't do is those bicep curls that twist. Reason is every time I do I get a really bad pain in my forearm. It's something that happens when I do reverse curls as well, like in gym styles ( palms facing down on the negative protion of a curl). It's the weirdest feeling, I think it's like a nerve or somethig. Anyway, I just did regular curls instead. I was pretty bummed I couldn't do the curl like Cathe for a little variety. The back work was great!!! I love the one arm rows with the palm facing down. Now, that I felt. Oh, I matched Cathe on all the weights, and even went heavier on some. We'll see how my muscles feel tomorrow.

Oh, if you guys are bored and on the computer, I put a new video up on my Myspace page. It's my boys at a show they did last week. It's them doing Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix. A friend recorded it on her camera thingy, so it's not the greatest video and all 4 boys are not in it at once really, but it was their first time doing that song live and my little one, Brendan, plays guitar behind his head and with his teeth in it.The only one that is not my own flesh and blood is their bass player, although he is like part of our family now! Sooo, if you have nothing to do and you want to see, go check it out. They only do one or two cover songs in a show usually, other than that they do all originals. This one our friend just happened to record. Next week when I get back I'll put some video up from last nights show of original stuff. We finally got a decent audio on it... usually our camera has crappy sound that's why I haven't put alot of their live stuff up in the past. They had an incredible show last night, BTW! I am sooo proud of them. Anyway, just thought I'd share with you guys. The link is on my Cathe profile. ETA... the guy in the background at the end with a guitar to pass out is my DH, Pat! AKA a s"Head Roadie" LOL! Oh, One more thing... I want you guys to know that sean's pants with the huge hole in it went against my better judgement as a mom... but you know, hey, what do I know???


Okay, I really need to finish packing and I still have laundry to do. Nothing like procrastinating!!! Hey, I'll miss you guys and I'll be back Friday evening, probably check in Saturday. Have fun with the new workouts!!!
