Hi everyone. Hope you're having a good day. This morning I got up early and walked with my neighbor. Felt good to be out in the fresh air. Nothing exciting to report. I miss Vicki. :( I need to plan a trip to NY and hopefully get together with some of you other northerners while I'm there. Have a good one gals, bbl.

Good Afternoon!

Today was Step Blast and Stretch Max #2 (with stability ball).

Robin--Did you get your keys out of the basement? I locked my keys in my car the other morning when I went to run with friends. Fortunately, one friend had her cell phone so I could call DH at 5:30am!!

Vicki and Tess--So glad you both had such a great time! I would join you if I weren't soooo far away.

Lara--I have only done Tracey's Step Sweatfest once so far and it was good. I thought she and Allison were so cute on the RT, I just had to buy one of her workouts. What other instructors did you order from?

Heather--Great to hear from you again. I would love to have a TX GTG!! e-mail me and we can plan it.

Gin:)

Hello fellow Road Trippers,

I visited with Tess, Vicki and Jodi over the weekend. Had a great time catching up on things. Vicki, I enjoyed getting to know you better.

I feel like I've been in a slump since the RT and can't seem to shake it off. Must be the hormones;) I need to get back on track before the 4 day split is released..

Tess, we will definitely need a GTG for those.

Carolyn

Hurray, hurray!

I did LowMax this morning on my new small step. It was fine. I did have to watch what I was doing, but I think the fact that I hadn't been on a regular step in a while helped. If I had worked out yesterday on a full size step, then today on a small one might've been trouble. As it was, I just worked with what was there. Yes, Liann, I did have to watch it on the pendulums.

I think I'll try the total body weights premix from LIC tomorrow.

Yes, Heather and Gin, let's do a TX GTG. I don't know what everyone's work schedules are, but it's likely that would need to be a weekend? Let's just plan it far enough in advance that I can plan around it, because our weekends are often full. Mondays and Tuesdays are totally out for me, but I could probably work around any other day, if I knew in advance. Our schedule just varies so much from week to week, we'll just have to throw out some dates and let me look at them. I'm so jealous of Vicki and Tess, but we have a crew right here!

For columbus day, we went to AR (hello, woopig) to see my parents.

It was finally cool today when I took kiddoes to school. Maybe it's finally fall?

PYGFO Check-in

I am blessed with abundant energy this week even though I have not been getting enough sleep. I need to start getting to bed earlier, but I am delighted that my way of eating is keeping my energy consistently high all day. I credit this to intense morning Cathe workouts, eating balanced meals and power snacks every few hours, drinking plenty of spring water, and taking Emergen-C.

After my quiet time this morning, I did the Kick Max warm-up and blast challenge followed by the warm-up, standing legs, and stretch from Gym Style Legs. What a fun combination! After experimenting with both ways, I have decided that weights first is best for me on upper body days and cardio first is best for me on lower body days. Training my upper body is my least favorite thing to do, so I like getting it out of the way and having a cardio workout to look forward to as a treat. I also get more out of my lower body workouts when I warm-up with cardio first, and it is difficult to give my all to cardio after an intense workout like Gym Style Legs. After the slow motion lunges and calf raises, I am ready to rest!

I planned menus for the next 2 days and went to the grocery store after work. My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. I saved the first segment of Core Max for tonight. I like this as a separate workout.

It is time to call it a day. Sweet dreams!

Gin and Laura, my e-mail address is in the Who’s Who book. It will definitely need to be a weekend for me.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

RE: PYGFO Check-in

Hello.

Today was LoMax followed by IMAX2 intervals 1-5 and LM Blasts only. I had never mixed these this way before. It was fun and I felt like I had a great cardio (and leg) workout.

Tess..It is awesome that you and Vicki were able to get together. You do need to plan a trip up north! It would be a blast! I wish I were closer, too!

Gin...I agree. I also thought they were very cute on the RT. I guess I may need to order SS to add to my collection!! I have pre-ordered Cathe (of course:) ), Amy Bento, Tracey, and Kelly Coffey-Meyer's new DVDs. I can't wait to get these!! I absolutely can't wait to get Cathe!!

Carolyn...Nice to see you!! I bet it was so fun to meet up with fellow Catheites!!

Laura...Good to hear form you!! How was your trip to AR?? It is finally starting to cool off around here. I think it will be even cooler on Thursday. I am jealous of your GTG plans. I think you all are the closest group to me!! I am glad you were able to safely use your new step!! Have fun tomorrow with LIC. Oh, and woooo pig soooie!! I hope we can beat Auburn!!

Heather...I am with you. I need to start getting to bed earlier!! It is just so hard since I have so much to do at night. I agree that eating right definitely helps keep my energy up when I don't get enough sleep. I did GS Legs the other day and could not believe how sore I got. It has been awhile since I did that one. It is a goodie :)

I am off to do a little paperwork before bed. Talk to you all tomorow.
