Morning:)

Today is LIS/HIS and LIS shoulders and core.

I was notified that my HRM is on it's way back to me....yay!!! I am so addicted to having my numbers. Not necessarily calories, but I like to keep up with my heart rate while I'm working out, without having to stop and take it.

Well, lets go workout! }(
 
Hi Michelle!! Where is everyone today? How was LIS/HIS? I'm glad you're getting your HRM back. I don't use mine that often, just when I want an idea of my calorie burn on certain DVD's.

Today will probably be a rest day although I have to clean the house when I get home from work tonight. My mom is coming into town tomorrow and I haven't even started doing what I have to do to get ready for her visit. So I should be burning some calories while I clean. :)

Yes, I believe you can burn some major calories cleaning house!:D

My workout was great! I was smilin' the whole time. I am slightly obsessed with finding some of the music from this series though. Some of the songs are very catchy,and have a great beat. I would love to be able to download and use them when I'm on the treadmill.

Hi folks. I did 4DS KB today. I'd like the cardio to be longer, but the weight work killed about nearly killed me. Then I washed windows, did housework and laundry. I'm exhausted. I can't wait till I retire and don't have to do a week's worth of chores on one day off.
 
Hey Girls!

Today was a "rest" day and I did Baron Baptiste's Level 3 Yoga. I think I may be the only one on this thread that hasn't done most of the new workouts. I have only done LIS, but plan to do KB/BC on Sat. I have glute and upper body DOMS from yesterday's KM!:eek:

Hey girls. I'm doing my very, very best to check-in. I know it's pitiful. Please, please, keep this thread together till I get back to Uganda and I promise I will be very good and check in every day. Furlough is just ridiculous.

I just finished doing the upper body section of BM2.

BTW, all you year-old Halloween candy passer outers . . . and skeptics . . . you have never tested the limits of how long candy will last until you move to Africa and have to ration your M&Ms!! It is truly amazing how long that stuff will last, even once it's been opened. It truly can make you wonder what you're putting in your mouth (obviously, lots of preservatives!) Actually, when I get a bag of M&Ms, I freeze them, and then I just pull out one serving at a time and leave the rest in the freezer. (Also helps limit portion sizes.)

Speaking of M&Ms, I just bought a bag of pink ones. And one of my friends here is getting ready to do the 3-day race for the cure. So it made me think of L Sass.

By the way, why will the program not allow you to go back into your text and insert smilies once the words are already typed? If I ever try to do that, it sticks the smiley at the end, regardless of where in the text I had my cursor. That's irritating. Especially when I'm back in Africa, and lose my connection regularly, I like to type the text offline, then just paste it. But then you can't stick smilies in at the appropriate places. Has anyone figured out how to do this?
 
Hello.

Just a quick check-in tonight. It is late and I am very tired! I did the cardio portions of LIS/HIS tonight. It was late when I did them b/c DH had knee surgery today and I had to take care of him. I loved the new cardio!! I will try to do all of the weight segments tomorrow. I love this series so far!!

Laura...I hope we will keep this thread going for awhile! It is fun to keep up with everyone.

I have to go get ready for bed. Tomorrow is a long day, but at least it is Friday!!
