Puzzle mats and discs

I just put down puzzle mats to protect my carpet. But the discs with cloth covers don't slide as well as plain discs on carpet. Any suggestions? Pledge spray worked well on carpet but I'm afraid it will make the mats too slippery Thanks

I use my disks WITHOUT the cloth covers on my puzzle mats and they slide just fine.... Have you tried it without 'em?

I find they don't slide well with or without the covers -- they just move without sticking. You want the SLIDING movement. I just put fleece blanket down on a section of the mat... that works better.

I just put a rug or small piece of carpet over my puzzle mat. I'm good to go.
