This was the PERFECT workout for me to do today!! We had ridiculously high winds all night (still do!!), and I didn't sleep more than four hours, and it was broken up sleep. However ... I couldn't NOT do Cathe!!
I LOVE this workout!!!!!!!!
It's fast-paced, so it's an endurance workout as well as a strength training one. The sets are short, so I found I was able to go much heavier than in some of the other strength training tapes. I LOVE all the work on the ball !!!!!
I'm getting so much stronger on it, and I was able to balance easily today! It really makes you work harder, and I'm sure it makes you work more core muscles because you have to balance as well as lift! You will definitely want a stability ball for this one! You won't get the same effect doing the exercises on the floor or on the high step.
The music is AWESOME!!! But Cathe, do you realize how difficult it is to sing while lifting at the same time???? LOL!!! I mean, how can you NOT sing??? LOVE the song for the stretch!! That's always been one of my favorites! And while doing calf work, Cathe does this cute leaning on the barbell thing while asking us if we're doing "one of these"! It made me laugh and my feel slipped off the step - LOL! Of course, considering I'm half asleep, my feet would have slipped off anyway!!
When Nik was getting on the bus this morning, she said, "Don't forget we're working out when I get home, Mom!" I was so happy!!! I do believe it's the first time Nik has ever said she WANTS to workout! I don't know what we'll be doing, but Push Pull was perfect for me today. I'm already tired - LOL! By the time she gets home I'll be asleep - LOL!!
If you haven't tried this one, you'll love it!! It's fast, it's fun, and the music is great!!!
