Push It

Good morning ladies :)

I did my last legs disc of M2 yesterday...WITH MY 20LBS VEST! I used it for 90% of the workout and loved it! Using the vest, I was forced to perform the exercises with no less than 20lbs, adding weight if necessary. I was challenged no doubt .

Heartymax
Are you on vaca yet? If not, and you're reading this, have a GREAT ONE! Eat, drink and be merry ;)

Stacie
I hope that's the end of your car troubles :(. I will keep my fingers crossed :).
BTW, they say people tell the truth when they're drunk...;)
I hope you are feeling better today with your headache and tiredness gone.

Have a great day folks!

Good morning everyone! I am sooooo excited (and nervous) that the new workouts will be sent out soon. Natty, I know you usually do the downloads so let us know how you like them!

Last night was a over a 3mile dog jog followed by about half of STS legs. My legs were shaking while doing lunges. I will do the other half on Friday. I started the workout pretty late because I was reading the news about the big fire about 45 minutes south of me. I have a couple of friends in Colorado Springs -- I hope they are ok.

We are on high alert right now with my son's asthma. A fire also broke out to the northwest of us and we could see the clouds of smoke from the office yesterday. He has been coughing quite a bit due to the smoke -- I think he will be on the nublizer for the next few days just to make sure he doesn't have a full blown attack.

Toni
I stave off hunger with greek yogurt and an occassional Jay Robb protein shake made with juice. Cottage cheese helps out a lot too. I didn't want to say this in the main forum but there is a thread going on about how people are working out a lot but not getting toned. I know some of them are vegan based on some of their other posts. It made me wonder if they are getting enough protein in. It's definitely something to thinks about if you are doing STS to get a nice toned look.

Natty
I am sooo jealous of your vest but I am glad you got it! I know it's a pain in the hiney to get stuff shipped to you in Canada. You will be loving it for the squat racks discs!

Have a terrific day everyone!

Hello all.....today's workout was STS M1 W1 D2 Back and Tris. I've never done tris along with back. I think I'm gonna feel that tomorrow :) My back doesn't usually get DOMS, instead it just feels really tight and I have to totally stretch it out. But i'm expecting DOMS in my tris for sure tomorrow. The overhead lying extentions with at 26lbs barbell were tough. And just when I thought she was done she said hold it....ummmmm NOT!! My weights for this disc were spot on, so I felt good about that. And I was able to press myself a bit today. I think I was in a bit of shock on Monday with the first disk. I'm beginning to adjust. I'm still bummed I have to use bands instead of doing real pull ups...oh well.

Ok, so I have to share this. I'm a HUGE Pepsi addict :), but I've been laying off the pop for a couple weeks. However, I bought a 12 pack of Pepsi Next(half the sugar). I've had it since the weekend, but haven't really wanted any. I decided to have one last night. Well I drank about three sips and decided I'd rather have water....OMG!! That is totally new for me. I was like who is this lady and where is my normal self...LOL!!

Natty - OMG..thank you so much for the snack suggestions!! They look great. Yes I would like the pancake reciep. That sounds really great. I need things I can just grab quickly. What is stevia and where do you buy it?? Some of these new ingredients make my head spin..LOL!!

Stacie - I definetly understand what you are saying about protien. I've been trying to make sure I get enough. I was starving last night, so I had a fried egg(no oil in the frying, used a non stick skillet) sandwich on whole grain toast. Wasn't necessarily low in calories, but it was good nutrition for my body and some protein.

Stacie
I'm sorry to hear about your son's asthma. I'm hoping he will be just fine and not have an attack :(.
This was the only time I DID NOT get the downloads!. But that's ok. Reason being I wanted all the premixes and frankly, it's a pain-in-the-a$$ to do them on the blender. So I will happily wait :D.
Regarding protein, ITA with you, and I understand why you did not post your views/suggestions. In Bob Harper's new book, he tells his story about how he was Vegan for 3 or 4 years, but switched back because he was getting "mushy". Animal protein may have been the difference for me as well. I have also been incorporating a lot of lamb due to BBQ , and my muscles are popping . Very interesting indeed.
Toni
Pop addictions are very difficult. A lot of my family members had/have this problem. My aunt had a tough time giving up her Coke, but as soon as she did, she started to lose weight. Kuddos to you for choosing water! I wish you the best in cutting down your pop intake. My bad habit is not drinking enough water. I just don't feel thirsty :(
Stevia is a natural sweetener (like sugar), made from the Stevia Plant. It's not derived from chemicals, like aspartame or sucralose. A lot of nutritionists and trainers recommend using it as an alternative to plain sugar. It has 0 calories and is safe for diabetics too. The only drawback is the price, however a little goes a long way. You can get it at any health food store, even Wal-mart (if it has a grocery section). I will find the recipe and get back to you asap. Check out the recipes section on Cathe's website too. I have a quinoa cookie and lime tarts submitted that are HEALTHY and you'll love.

Good day everyone!

Good morning :)

Yesterday was D...something . I stopped keeping track of the disc #'s. Back and bi's, that's all I remember. My last of M2 :(. Great little workout coming in at 43min. I felt that 5% increase, oh boy!

Today's w/o will be Imax1 .

I'm going to a sports bar with DH and his buddies to watch the euro soccer game today (semi-finals). My cousin is watching Bella :D. We usually share some pitchers of beer and have a pretty good time...well when we used to do that kind of stuff BC (before children). I've known these guys my whole life almost, since grade 6.

Here is the recipe for Bob Harper's protein pancakes:

1/2c rolled oats (or steel cut if you like more texture). Not cooked.
1/4c ff ricotta
4 lrg egg whites
1/2 banana
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2c blueberries (I find any berry to work nicely)
cinnamon to taste

1. Heat pan or griddle. Coat w/cooking spray. Even coconut oil or coconut butter works well.
2. Mash bananas in bowl
3. add all ingredients, mixing well
4. add berries to batter and fold
5. Pour batter into pan

This will make a lot of pancakes, depending on size. You can keep in fridge and take out for a healthy, quick, protein snack! :p

Happy Thursday! My push up count was 12 again so I'm feeling good about that.

So far this week:
4DS Kickbox - love it but it's only a half hour so I followed it with
HiiT 40/20 (thanks, Natty, you put me in the mood).
It wasn't a breeze but I made it through feeling very accomplished after my hour of work. Sucked down some ice water that's for sure!
Although sometimes I drink low-cal Gatorade if I feel I need it that day.

Tuesday: Athletic Training... since that workout involves strength but not really endurance and my muscles didn't really feel any tension (except for in the hamstrings)...
that is why Wednesday I thought it was okay to do a strength/endurance workout which was Trisets.

I'm taking today off, and tomorrow I'll do a cardio/leg workout... to be determined :)

Stacie, nice picture by the way! I meant to mention it before.
Are the Colorado fires burning your eyes or lungs? How is everyone doing? Sorry your son's asthma is affected by it.

I forgot to comment on your comment about the music for TriSets - well, it's not my favorite and it's not quite like anything I've heard before; sort of omnious sounding - but I guess that kind of fits the workout! LOL!

Glad your son is making such progress! That has to be very rewarding. And congrats on the complement on your "guns!" The guy sounds impressive himself - yum! Oops, I didn't exactly mean that:eek: Either way, Drunk or not I'm sure he just was loose-lipped!

Toni, Good job on STS - sounds like you are ready to plow through; keep up the good work! Congrats on the water choice, too!
Natty and Stacie have good ideas for well-rounded snacks.
I have 2 patties in my lunch during the work day (they are easy to microwave) - either Spicy Black Bean burgers (by Morning Star) or 2 Boca Burgers (eh, just okay - definitely need seasoning) or 2 Morning Star grilled Chicken patties. Between whole wheat bread and Laughing Cow Creamy Swiss cheese I'm good to go for the rest of the afternoon. Granted, it's lacking veggies but I get a ton of veggies at dinner and fruit in my breakfast smoothie (with protein powder) so overall I feel satisfied throughout the day.

Natty, Moscato is a relatively sweet white wine. I also like the dry red wines like Shiraz or Malbec. I'm all over the board when it comes to wine :)
What kind of wine is Cono Sur? I've had one Chilean wine before, don't remember which kind, but it was fantastic!

True, books are always better than the movies because it can go into more detail. That is definitely the case with the Dragon Tattoo.
As for the movie, we watched the Swedish version (with subtitles) and have not seen the American one but I would like to see it and compare the two.

Frankly, though, I think I may have been a little bored with the movie had I not read the book. The book gets intense even though it starts off pretty darn slow.

I just finished reading the 2nd book (Played with Fire) so we will watch that movie this weekend. The trilogy Swedish movies are are out on Netflix - looking forward to it! I checked out the 3rd and final book and it already is hard to put down.

Well I'm at work but I wanted to check in. Stacie, I heard about the Colorado fires on the news and thought about you.
About one more week until the DVDs arrive on our doorsteps! Eek!
Be careful everyone and have a great day! Work Hard!:D

Good morning all! Last night we were out kinda late visiting with a friend who is in town until tomorrow so no workout for me. I am getting sick...my throat has been hurting the past couple of days. :( No worries though...I am loading up on the peppermint even as I type! :D

Toni
I thought you could do the pullups with the squat rack? I could have sworn someone wrote that somewhere....the bands will give you a good workout too though.

I go through radical waves with my soda drinking. I went months without drinking anyway once and then one Pepsi slowly brought me back to one a day. Right now I am back down to maybe one a week...it is a a hard habit to kick so good for you for choosing water instead!

Natty
I did see in the thread that you had posted about protein consumption too. We are definitely in agreement on that one.

My ex (the Marine) was a huge fan on Stevia...it was all he used for sweeteners. I don't know if Canada has a Sam's Club or not but you can actually get it there for a pretty decent price. The protein powder I use has Stevia in it which is why it is so low in calories and carbs. I have to admit though it tastes awful in milk -- I usually mix it with juice (which probably defeats the the purpose of Stevia!). It's quite tasty with the juice.

Jennifer
Way to go on all those workouts! And that's amazing that you have gone back up so quickly on your pushup count after getting hurt in the accident. That's awesome!

Thanks for the compliment on the pic too!

I am far enough away from the fire that I don't smell smoke. There is a cloud though that is appearing around Denver off and on depending on the weather conditions. The air quality is pretty bad too which is where my son struggles. It's really sad about all the people losing their homes... :(

I am not going to lie...my neighbor has some very attractive children. I had seen my neighbor's son before but every time it was without my contacts in! Last weekend was the first time I actually got a good look at him. He is quite the looker. He was showing me some pictures of their family at Easter and I got a close look at his brother too...another handsome man and my exact age. I met her daughter once too and she is very pretty as well. He is a pretty confident guy though. As soon as he hit the park his shirt came off and you can definitely tell he works out! He was even messing around doing pec flexes to try to make my son laugh which made his mom and me laugh instead. I am not a total perv though...I did notice he has nice blue eyes too. :D He was also super nice to my son which was awesome. He spent a lot of time playing with him and talking to him. All and all it was a good time although I am not sure how much of it he remembers! LOL!

Have a terrific day everyone!

Hello all. Today was KPC. I'm hoping I don't regret that before leg day of STS :) I don't know if I will ever be good at those med ball pikes. I can still only get 3. Next week I will try four four of them.

Eating was pretty clean today, so I'm happy about that. I've slap lost the two pounds I gained on vacation. I will probably gain them bac next week. There is the fourth and I'm going to Chicago for that weekend. Ready for that!!

Natty. - thanks for the recipe. I'm going to try those this weekend :).

Jennifer - yes I can do the pull ups with my squat rack, but my wrist is a problem right now. It can't support my body weight, so I'm using bands for now.

Stacie - I plan to join you in that STS thread, I just haven't had time to post yet. Hoping tomorrow :)

Good morning ladies! Last night was a crazy night...we were out kinda late hanging out with my friend who leaves today. I admit that we were bad and went out for cheesecake! We walked around the new Ikea too which was my first time going there. That place is sooooo huge! I can't believe the sheer size of it. It's nice to look at things and get different home decorating ideas. After my son fell asleep, I did a 2.5 mile dog jog followed by Week 3 Chest and Biceps (you know...the one with the insane number of pushups!). Tonight I hope to complete Back and Biceps as well as finishing up the other half of the leg workout. We are going to a baseball game that will have a fireworks show so I am not sure if the workouts will get done or not.

This weekend we are going to visit my mom and grandma. Grandma has not been eating or drinking and her vital signs are dropping. It will be sad to see her pass but it's sad to see her in the state she is in as well. She was always so active until about 2 years ago and she has gradually gone downhill. Now she is bedridden and in a huge amount of pain. She doesn't even recognize anyone any more -- we are all strangers to her.

Natty
I forgot to thank you for posting all the great recipes. I even bought quinoa the other day to try one of them out.

Toni
Way to go on losing those extra pounds so fast! Just remember that doing STS can cause the scale to go crazy due to the water build up from such an intense lifting program.

Have a terrific day everyone!

Stacie, Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Seems you've taken a few blows in a short amount of time and yet you're still keeping your chin up. Workouts really help that's for sure:)

I think being forced to take time off because of the car wreck has motivated me to get going on strength again. I'm glad to be improving :)

Toni, congrats on losing the pounds!

Tasha, thank you for the recipe; you are so good to bake and cook like you do!

Today was Cardio Core Circuit; it's probably been months since I did that one. Sheesh! I had to totally modify so I could keep going in one of the rounds... it's the 3 side jumps across a mat and then a tuck jump (repeated over and over and over and over again:)).

I'm hoping to have the new DVDs on Monday or Tuesday and I plan to do Cross Fire first :) Which one do you want to try first?

TTFN!

Good morning :)

Yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach . I was so tired upon returning home, so no workout for me.

Today will be KPC and tomorrow is my final disc from M2 (shoulder, chest, tri's) :(. One more meso to go and then I was contemplating doing a rotation with Supreme 90-Day + Cathe's newest. We'll see...

Jennifer
Congrats on doing CCC . Yes, modifications are always needed with me too. I've been doing that sucker for 1 year now and it never gets easier.
I'm trying To The Max first :D. I'm a sucker for anything with my step :D.
Your workout last week with the 4DS Kickbox + 40/20 is very impressive . You are CRAZZZYYY...in a good way :D.
Cono Sur (red wine) comes in everything from Shiraz to Merlot. I saw a review on it inside my Today's Parent magazine.
Stacie
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. It's so hard to see a family member pass, but especially hard when they are suffering. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Ikea is my obsession. My house is probably 93.5% Ikea stuff :D. I could spend hours just perusing...and of course picking up a thing or two along the way :D. Damn impulse buys!
Btw, don't you just love when you live beside attractive men? :D. It makes it so much more pleasurable to see them mow the lawn shirtless ;). You are too funny! I love it :D.
Toni
You know what, I doubt you actually gained 2lbs of fat during your vacation. The food on cruises are probably laden with salt. You were most likely carrying around extra-water retention from the sodium...not to mention alcohol really dehydrates you. It's good you got back on track eating healthfully. I think it's easier to do that when you've been eating crap all week on your vaca...or perhaps not ;)
As far as the band work use during STS, don't disregard them totally. You can get a wonderful little workout with them...just make sure to use the proper tension and make it challenging.

Have a wonderful weekend ladies :)

Hi Ladies! I am back from the beautiful islands. Vacation was absolutely wonderful. As I mentioned, it was our first time out of the country and we wereall very excited. The resort was gorgeous and well worth the money spent. So much for the kids to do. I ate whatever I wanted. I also managed to go to the nice gym there 3 mornings----yes, can you believe that. I gained 4 pounds while on vacation. I am not worried as I know it will drop easily once I return to sensible eating. My normal days never includes a huge breakfast, ice cream, multiple virgin and non-virgin drinks, wine for dinner, etc.

I was the only lady in the gym who was in the weight rooms. I basically had to make up my own routines. I could tell the men were staring at me as they could tell that I KNEW what I was doing with those weights. Basically, I grouped 2 exercises and did 3 sets and moved on to something else. This one guy was grunting with 25lbs dumbbells for chest flys and chest presses. I was laughing so hard on the inside since I had just finished doing my chest presses with the 25s.

I went back to read about Toni's vacation and haven' t had a chance to catch up on everything else. Toni--glad you had a great vacation and 2lbs gain is definitely good.

I wanted to let everyone know that I was back and will be back to my normal routine of eating decent and continuing my workout plan.

Oh---one more thing---I went snorkeling for the first time and my boys had a blast with it to. I posted a pic on FB with our gear on and then all my friends started posting about my abs. I do not have a 6 pack by no means but someone commented that it looked like one to them and how they wish they had my abs. It made me feel pretty good because I know my abs look better when I focus on my eating less junk food. My husband just reminded me that my heatlhy habits allow me to have some benefits that many others would love to have.

Chat with you ladies tomorrow.

Good morning ladies,

Yesterday was Canada Day :). It's very rare we go out and celebrate on that day. It's just too damn congested everywhere, and I hate fighting through crowds and traffic. Long weekends in Canada are absolutely horrible. Forget about beach trips -- it could take you hours to reach your destination and hours coming back.

Yesterday's workout was my last disc of M2 (chest, shoulder's, tri's). I could not reach my 80% 1RM :(. My strength was just not there. It didn't help that there was this child screaming and crying outside for 30min, and it distracted me hearing it. I won't use that as an excuse though. It was just an off day I suppose.

Heartymax
Your vacation sounded absolutely wonderful. Once you start going to the Caribbean, you will keep fantasizing about going back. Snorkeling is definitely one of the most surreal things I have ever done. I'm so happy you go to experience it.
Kuddos to you for going to the gym! I love the story about the men and the one guy who struggled with the 25lbs . You rock woman!
Congrats on the ab compliment on FB too. I'm sure you looked like one hot mamma. You do work hard, and deserve to strut your stuff.

Have a great day ladies :). We are off to the splash-pad today :D

Today was 60 minutes on the elliptical. I will spend the next few days unpacking and doing laundry.

Natty---hard to believe that you are that far along in STS. It seems like just yesterday that you were excited about starting the program. Meso 2 is my favorite. I have never done the 6 month rotation or the pyramid down. I am not sure what I will do the next month while I am out for the summer. I will tell you that I felt confident in my cutehalter tops that I wore to dinner each night thanks to all the good Cathe upper body workouts.

Jennifer---CCC has so much dreadfactor for me. I was encouraged by Natty success so I tried again about a month ago and it was better----but just can' t see myself doing that workout regularly.

Toni
--so you are enjoying STS. Where are you in the program now? Glad to see that you have dropped those pounds right away. What areas did you cruise? I bet your kids loved it. Was it your first cruise? We have never taken a cruise but my friends tell me that they are great family trips.

Stacie---sounds like you had fun with your friends. Don't feel guilty about the late night cheese cake. It is not like you do that daily or even weekly. We---hard core Catheletes deserve to do something like that every now and then:D.--Just don't make it a habit;)

I love Crossfire and everything about it - the music was top 40 like Cathe said and I recognized a lot of them. I especially enjoyed the music during the stretch. One thing I noticed about the DVD format is when the Strech comes up I was not able to hit NEXT to get to the Bonus sections... I had to go back to the main menu and select it. Maybe I needed to hit the Crossfire Extreme menu... humm... I'll check that out next time.

Today was Cycle Max but only about 35-40 minutes of it. I just couldn't get into it but I did work it for as long as I could.
My back is bothering me so I'm sticking to Low Impact this week - I guess To The Max will have to wait until next week or the weekend.

Natty, did you get To The Max yet? I did watch it (while I was on the phone so I know I missed some stuff) and it looked intense and harder than Athletic Training. I'm looking forward it!

As for my 4DS kickbox/40-20 HiiT... thanks, but don't be too impressed - I know I didn't nail the 40/20 as well as I wanted to but I did an hour of some good, hard cardio:)

The beach... it must be so nice to be able to go to the beach when you want to - except for Canada Day. Sounds like it was a good time. How did the soccer game turn out - like you wanted it to? I'm sure you had a good time out watching the game one way or the other!

I'm sorry you weren't able to reach your 80% 1RM. Sometimes the body just isn't willing to comply:( I hope it goes better on your next try.

Heartymax! So good to hear that your vacation was so awesome. Snorkeling is so cool! I've only done it once but hardly saw anything. Did you see my beloved sea turtles?

How awesome is that - hitting the gym while vacation, and not only that be being able to show off your knowledge - and strength - to a group of guys and getting a FB complement on your rockin' abs!
Glad you made it back safely:)

Take care everyone and make it a great day!

Good morning everyone! This last weekend we saw my grandma and she does look pretty awful. My sister and I were able to get her to eat and drink which was good. After we left though, she didn't want to eat anything again. I think Mom is right and it's just a matter of time. We don't really know how long because she seems really bad one day and then perks up the next but I would venture to guess it could happen any day now. There isn't much we can do at this point....she is 85 and outlived all her brothers and sisters. I hope if she thinks back she will remember having a good life.

Last night I did week 3 of Back and triceps. I am a couple of workouts behind. Hopefully I will catch up on them this week since this is the last week in the Meso cycle.

Jennifer & Natty
Thank you for the kind words! A lot of people do seem to be passing away lately but I guess that's just the way things go sometimes. Some people only come around when someone dies -- I try to see people when they are alive. I am lucky to be able to do that so that even if someone does pass away I will alway have a memory of them in my mind.

HeartyMax
Welcome back from your vacation! It sounds like you all had a great time. What a fantastic compliment about your abs! My abs are the area I need to work harder on.

Natty
Don't feel bad about not hitting your 1RM values. Some days we are all just weaker for some reason or another. It would have been very distracting too to hear Bella crying outside the door. Today is a new day and the important part is just doing the workout. Just think about how many people don't do anything at all!

Happy Monday everyone! Oh...I forgot to mention that I did get Cross Fire and To The Max in the mail last night. I haven't preview them yet but I was happy to see them there. I did notice that Cathe's July rotation has them in it three times a week which kind of surprised me because I had thought Hiit was only supposed to be done once or twice a week. I am sure Cathe knows what she's doing though!

Good morning :)

Yesterday we went to a beach in Barrie, Ontario (only 30min away). There is an awesome splash-pad, park, and trail, all surrounding the beautiful beach front area. Lots of hotties too (men and women)...oh and the kids are cute too ;).

Yesterday's w/o was 4DS High Intensity Step. I was pooped :(.

Stacie
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I am very close to mine, so I can't imagine the pain you are going through :(.
LOL, thank goodness that was not Bella crying for 30min!!! It was actually some child outside of our building having a crying fit . I live on the 2nd floor, I can hear everything.
I've seen Cathe put hiit during the week up to 3X in some of her rotations. Yes, I think there's a method to her madness. You should ask her in the Ask Cathe forum...It's a good question.
Jennifer
Congrats on doing Crossfire!!! There's so much love for it already. I wonder if anyone actually does not like it . No one will actually say if they hated it for fear all the devoted Cathe fans will jump on their back...which is wrong IMO.
I won't get the workouts til' probably next week :(.
Heartymax
I don't think I'm pyramiding down...I miss my other Cathe strength workouts :(.
I feel ya on the confidence thing :D. I've never felt better about my body. It's a very empowering and satisfying feeling :).

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning! Last night I did a 5k dog jog...it went ok. I was feeling pretty tired but it was good to be running again. Tonight will be STS legs and maybe a premix of one of the new DVDs.

Natty
Thanks again for the kind words. I am pretty close with a lot of family but it feels super sad about Grandma because she has always been there. Some of my family up here in Denver I didn't really connect with until I was an adult but I have been around Grandma my entire life since we lived in the same town. We would see her nearly every day when we were growing up.

That's good to know that it wasn't Bella that was crying! I might ask Cathe about the Hiits -- I think she even said that in one of the newsletters but I couldn't find the reference. I have been meaning to ask her about Athletic Training, Afterburn, and Cardio Supersets anyway. I want to know if it's ok to put these workouts after a strength training day since they use weights. I know she said that To The Max and Crossfire were ok since they focused more on cardio.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello everyone!!! I'm not dead..LOL!! Sorry it's been so long since I've checked in. Been a little busy here.

My workouts have continued on schedule. I am in the middle of repeating week 1 of STS. One more workout and I can move on to week two. I think I like doing each week twice. Gives me time to get fimiliar with the moves and really give it my all that second week.

The first leg DVD was ummmm....fun...LOL!! Had some sorness after that one for sure. Which I didn't expect cause each move itself isn't hard. I guess just everything adding up over the entire workout was what got me!!

I'm really excited about the way my tris are shaping up. You can now see both sides of my tri(that V shape). I joke with my husband that I have a piece of a tri. I'm working on developing the whole thing!!! :)

I'm going to have to post personals tomorrow(or the next day). I'm actually working tonight(yuck) and I need to pay attention to what I'm doing. Just wanted to say I'm not dead :)

Happy July 4th to my friends down south :)

Yesterday I decided to take a rest day. I went for a nice 1hr walk with Bella to the pharmacy and that was enough for me :D.

Today's w/o will be low impact, so perhaps CSS or Afterburn. I have a gut feeling the workouts will be coming this week...just in time for me to enjoy them during what's left of active recovery .

I have decided for M3, I am going to go ahead and do both squat rack and plyo legs. Reason being is that I will never be able to get to 80-90% of my 1RM for squats (even with my vest) and I want to work my legs 2X/week to shape them up more. Hopefully I can pull it off .

Toni
Now that I think of it, I should have done the 6 month rotation :(. I understand exactly why you chose to do it that way now. Your results are going to be OUTSTANDING let me tell ya. Wait until you see your triceps in M2 . My arms have never been defined like this in my life. I should paste a pic of me at the beach recently where you can see my arms...my mouth dropped when I saw that pic! I had no idea they looked like that. Perhaps it was the angle of the sun ;)
Glad to see you are ok :). Motherhood is a never ending job.
Stacie
AHHHH 5K jog!!! You are incredible!! Two thumbs up :D
Do one of the new workouts and give your review . I trust your critique.

Have a wonderful day :)
