Hello everyone
After reading in the thread Your Ideal Day, I saw a lot of posts on how much people love listening to thunder shower's at night. I then remembered a website that I love, and wanted to share it with all of you:
White Noise Compact Disks [CDs], Online White Noise MP3 Downloads, Whitenoise Sounds, White Noise Compact Disks Online | White Noise iPhone/iPod App
I have been downloading these wonderful static noise MP3's since my daughter was born about 3 years ago. It's no surprise babies sleep better and find comfort in listening to static noise (especially during the first 3 months -- helpful tip to all the new mommies to be ). During the first year of my daughter's life, I experimented with several static noises, including Ocean Waves (a personal fav), Thunder Shower's, Babbling Brook, Fan, just to name a few. Not only were they helpful in aiding my daughter into a blissful night's sleep, but I also fell in love and found them to be extremely effective for occasional insomnia and drowning out annoying sounds at night (wonderful if you live on a busy street or intersection). The trick is to find the sounds that appeals to you (the Ticking Clock just bothered the heck out of me!!).
Two thumbs-up for a restful nights sleep
Natasha
