Pull ups?

I have just ordered my STS. In doing the ORM testing, I looked at workout sheet, and it has pull ups listed.
Does the video show us how to safely modify if we are not strong enough to do one yet?

Thanks.

Alternative to pull-ups

I think there is a modification using the bands and pulling down from the tower.

Thank you. If I do not want to use bands does it show how to do assisted pullups? I used to be able to do a few, and would really like to be able to get 10 by August with good form.

Thanks again for your response.

If you have the tower, you lower the bar so that your body is on the floor. You modify the intensity on how you place your legs. Straight out with only your heels on the floor is the most challenging. What will you be using for your pull-ups? Do you have an assisted pullup machine?

I work at a gym, so I will be working out there. I have all the equipment here at home but since I am at work on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I figure why not? I will be using the squat rack there. I like the idea of an assisted pull up machine, but feel that I will make better progress doing them as you described :D
Thank you for answering my question.

If you have the tower, you can use that as a squat rack too. That's what I do, but I'm short - so I'm not sure how it works for a taller person. But hey.... if you've got access to the real deal, then that's cool. Cathe does use the assisted pull-up in one set - it looks really nice.

How long have you beed doing Cathe? what have your results been like? I have worked out to her randomly, mostly done Beachbody workouts for the past three years, and even though I have gotten results I am still 15 pounds (of fat) from my goal.
