Pull-Ups

Hey ladies, just had a question. How many of you are using a pull-up bar and how many are using the tubing? I'm thinking about using a pull-up bar but really don't have the place for it. So wondering if the tubing works well? Thanks!!

I use a pull up bar. I don't find that the resistance tubing (heavy) gives me any challenge.

I have both, and use both. I can only do so many pullups, so sometimes when I'm needing to feel a little more successful I use the tubing. Like some say, it doesn't feel like much of a challenge, but I do think that something is happening.

I have the tubing and do not feel as pushed as I should, but I'm waiting on the Cathe pull up tower to come out.....I don't have anywhere to put the pull up bars over the doors and I love that design and the fact you can modify until you're ready for full pull ups......crossing my fingers to have it by my 2nd STS rotation with the STS cardio....

I use a homemade pull up bar-a barbell that goes through holes drilled in 2"x4"s, suspended from the studs in our basement. Works great. I found the only way to improve on pull ups is to DO pull ups. Good luck!

resistance band for me too

I also use a resistance band. I definitely think that I'm not working as hard as they are with the pull-up bars. However, I work on actively contracting my back muscles and I do feel like I get a benefit.

I'm waiting for the release of the power tower.
