Hello all you educated Cathe-ites!
I have just purchased the entire CTX series and I'm very excited about it! I also own MIS, Power Hour, and Body Max for strength and many other cardio Cathes. I was able to trade for PS BBA and then had a chance to buy a used copy of PS CST. My question is: do I really need PS Legs? I mean, I know we all *want" everything of Cathe's, but.....
A little about me: my legs are not my problem (I'm a classic "apple"). My goal is to work them enough to keep them sleek and toned but not bulky. Since starting serious Cathe weight training with the above videos, I have seen some nice development of my quads and hams. Also, I am 42 and am starting to experience twingy knees. While I know strengthening the quads will help my knees, I can't lunge too often or too deep.
My question (finally!): can Leaner Legs sub for PS Legs in a PS rotation, especially since I'm looking for Lean rather than Strong legs? I looked at the descriptions of the videos on Video Fitness and they look so similar to me. Is it a matter of speed (strength slower than endurance) or what?
I'd would love to hear any and all opinions, your experiences, and advice!
TIA,
Elisa
