PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION - Fab in Feb

I think I need rotation help! My mind is spinning! aaaaaauuuuuggggghhhhh good thing I don't start until Saturday :)

Stacy I really liked that GS rotation we did back in November was it? And also the month after, I think we did TB at least one day a week...I'm going to have to go back to the old threads and look...

aha, I found it...
from November sometime...

I decided I'm going to do the STS/LIS One Month Total Body rotation Cathe posted in January. I like that one b/c it has 2 rest days (well one is a rest or yoga day). For my schedule I can stick to a 5 day a week workout schedule fairly well. I'm going to make some substitutions b/c I dont have all the workouts. The general plan will be...

WEEK 1 & 3
--Total body
--Cardio
--Rest
--Total body
--Cardio
--Circuit
--Rest

WEEK 2 & 4
--Upper body
--Cardio
--Rest
--Circuit
--Cardio
--Lower body
--Rest

For total body I plan on using STS Total Body and Hi Reps. For upper body I'm going to use PUB and CTX UB, for lower body, I'll use Leaner Legs and Gym Styles. For the Circuits, most likely Athletic Training, LIC, TTM or CF. And on cardio days I'll use that as my "free" day to do whatever cardio I'm in the mood for. I'll likely have to change the order of those workouts to match up better with my new work schedule I'll have in December, but that's my basic foundation!

Andrea, that rotation sounds great. I think I'll be joining you!! I like 5 day rotations too, I really just can never seem to make the 6 day ones work with my schedule and some weeks even the 5 day ones are tough...it's either sacrifice sleep and workout or vice versa. I'm working all weekend and my brother and friends will be staying with me. Realistically next Tuesday sounds like a better day for me to start but we'll see if I can sneak something in this weekend. Mondays are usually my rest days b/c I work fairly late at one of our satellite offices that is a 40 min drive away. By the time I get home it's late!

Peng....are you in too??

ok you know i copy and pasted that from your post ;-)

I'll have to go figure out what I'll be doing for each workout "type", going to have long and short options for each due to time issues so i don't get stuck. i also want to incorporate some yoga.

I know ;) But I'm thinking I got it from Cathe's post, either way it's still good!

Barring work catastrophes, I think this weekend will be either no workout or might be able to squeeze in something very short, but starting next week..

Monday--Rest Day
Tuesday--Total Body (Hi Reps)
Wednesday--Cardio (Low Impact HiiT)
Thursday--Circuit (Athletic Training)
Friday--Rest
Saturday--Cardio (not sure yet)
Sunday--Total Body (Hi Reps or STS)

Ok, gotta hit the road!

I think I'm going to stick with the rotation I'm using now. It seems to be working for me.

Had Bible study this morning, then lunch with my parenst. I"m trying to get some chores done before Knit Night tonight. One of the girls who hasn't been able to come since before Christmas is able to come tonight so I'm excited to see her again. They are predicting snow tomorrow so the city is preparing to shut down. Last fling before we are all snowed in, LOL. :p

Oh I hope you don't get snowed in Peng!...I wouldn't wish that on anyone, ever!

We still aren't getting our mail! They are bringing by important things and packages, but no "junk mail". Kind of nice, but it makes me nervous to never see anything in the mail box.

Well I came up with a workout plan, following that rotation, I am going to use the Hardcore series since I really like Muscle Max and the GS workouts, and love Low Max and Kick Max, have never used High Step Challenge but I hear it ain't easy :) and I don't have Imax 3 but considering my tendon issues I think that's okay. Kick max didn't bother it and Low Max shouldn't bother it too much. I'm pretty excited, I start on Saturday. I am including an extra upper body workout on those split weeks, since there are two UB gym styles workouts, and throwing in Core Max and Stretch Max from time to time.

GOT to clean up the eating. I read that March is supposed to be colder than usual here, but April and May warmer than usual, and June, July and August MUCH warmer than usual, so that means I have GOT to get this fat offa me because I am wearing shorts and tank tops this summer in public! Comfortably! I AM I AM!!!!!!!!

OK...happy Friday. Enjoy your weekends, ladies. Stacy, enjoy spending time with your brother and friends!

I started to post yesterday afternoon, then Hubby came home to pack for a suprise trip to Des Moines, chaos ensued.

Its snowing lightly here! just flurries but its a novelty around here. I saw that both KCM and Cathe have preorders out! Ouch. I can skip KCM's but I saw two of Cathe's that I like but I'll have to wait.

I keep hoping Cathe would change the banner on the top of the forum when Xtrain came out. I'm tired of looking at it.

Happy Saturday! what a great day so far :) Started the day by setting a goal for the next 90 days...300 miles of dog walks! So even though there are no sidewalks available due to two feet of snow, the roads are clear so we took backroads and walked 2.5 miles today. Then I tackled muscle max! geez i had a hard time finishing that, but I made it.
funny that snow is a novelty for you Peng...here it is definitely a four letter word! hopefully we are done for the year.

I'm going to check out the new workouts!
