Programming DVDs

I just bought a Sony DVP-NC665P/S programmable DVD which I really like. The only problem with it is is doesn't save a program. I've gone to the trouble of creating a nice Lotte Berk DVD compilation but I can't seem to find a way to save this. Are there any programmable DVD players on the market that allow you to store a program into memory. Also, when switching from one programmed segment to another it goes back to the intro of the DVD first before going to the segment I want to view. Is the a functionality of the LB DVDs or am I programming something wrong? Basically, I'm trying to (1) store my workout and (2) provide for seemless transition from one segment to another without the intro being played between segments.

Thanks

I'm not sure you could have the option to store your programmed compilation. You have to remember that the majority of people buying/using the DVD is solely for the purpose of watching a movie. Adding additional features costs money... most people do not want to spend more on things they do not use. Therefore, there isn't much demand to program across multiple DVDs (wouldn't be a good movie, IMO); hence, there aren't many models out there that accomodates that (except for Sony, I heard). However, having said that, I do not think saving the compilation takes a lot of memory or work. It's probably something you could suggest to the manufacturer. Same with seemless transition -- it could be something you could suggest to the manufacturer... may be they would fix the problem in their future models.

I'm actually going to try this today. I have programed a workout across multiple DVDs with my player and it works fine. I just noticed last night that my DVD remote has 2 memory buttons, and I have no idea what they do. I'm going to program a short workout today just for fun and then see if it saves it for future use. I will report back later if this works. I have a Pioneer DV-C503 which did cost a little more than some others, but has worked great so far.
