PROGESS NOT PERFECTION...Knockin' November OUT!

Today is a rest day exercise-wise. I just got home from Bible study, lunch and shopping, then I’m getting picked up for Knit Night in a few hours. yay!

Andrea, Meatloaf sounds good! Anything but more turkey!

Stacy, I hope you throat feels better, mine starts to hurt when I'm cold for a long time, like yesterday.
 
wow, what a beautiful day here today...sunny and mid sixties. Dogs were outside most of the day and i accomplished a lot of cleaning and decluttering! also a dog walk and just finished slow and heavy legs (legs only)...as i sit here I'm feeling a definite warm burn in my thighs! :)

Stacy, hope to hear you are feeling better! watching any football tonight? the game doesn't really excite me tonight. going to have a glass of wine and watch a recorded Top Chef I think!
 
Woke up this morning with no sore throat, but a queasy stomach instead, maybe wouldve called into sick work if I could have, but wasnt really an option. Diet wasnt stellar, but didnt really overeat, just ate kinda crappy food. No workout.

Hoping to feel better and dive in for a tough workout on Saturday December 1st!!

Enjoy you new workouts, Andrea! I just put a few non-Cathe's on my Xmas list. I didnt order her XTrain either, wanted to wait for reviews first.

Peng, I havent done KCM's NYC in awhile! In fact I havent done much of anything lately! :(

I did get brave enough (or stupid enough) to get on the scale this morning. It wasnt what I liked, but it was better than I thought.
 
What's on your Christmas List, Stacy? I'm curious...I know the day will come when I'm in the mood for something besides Cathe kicking my butt! lol..

I'm SORE today! That slow and heavy leg workout must have been a good one. I did get some use out of my 20 pound dumbbell, hadn't used that one since about 2005. :)

I've got Step Jam on my calendar, and an ab circuit, and I think I need to do stretch max or Yoga Bliss Hips. Feelin' tight :(

YAAAAA HOOOOOOOO tomorrow is my last 12 hour shift. Never thought this day would come :) Eight hour shift on Sunday, and Cardio and Weights planned for when I get home. We'll see :)

Hubby comes home today!!!!!

April gets her Spa Day, I'm doing laundry{sheets and towels}, I need to get out in the yard and do some work since today is supposed to be faily nice. Maybe I should check next week and see if the weather will be nicer? anything to procrastinate! Cardio for later.

I weighed myself and the scale was UP 2lbs, that will teach me to complain about not losing any weight in 2 weeks!

Andrea, glad to hear your shifts are getting shorter, but does this mean you have to work more days? Yay on your workouts arriving and good job on the 20lbs db

Stacy, glad to hear your throat is better but hope the sick feeling goes away.
 
I'm feeling better, just lazy!!

Peng, your dog's spa days crack me up! My dogs are spoiled but no spa days, they just bask in the heat of the fireplace!

Andrea, Step Jam is a good solid step routine. I do it when I want a longer, steady state, no nonsense workout. It has a song at the beginning with some country&western flair that still makes me chuckle.

I dont know what workout I have planned for tomorrow but I'm definitely working out December 1st!!

ok one last check in to finish out November. Step Jam rocked yesterday, burned over 600 calories according to my hrm, then ab hits #4, then an hour long dog walk...then hubby talked me into pizza and a couple beers :p oh well...yes Peng I'll be going to full time instead of part time, so I'll be working five days a week. I hope its not terrible!
