problems playing video on the ipad

I have a home gym, and there is no computer in that room. The wifi signal is strong, and yet, this is the second day in a row where I've had trouble playing one of previously made 'blended' videos from the workout blender. (Safari) It's very frustrating to say the least, when you are trying to complete a workout and everything freezes, and it's just completely dead. I can create blends and play on the computer (windows 10), but it's hit/miss on the ipad, which creates a problem since all the workout equipment is in the gym.

I've used other workout streaming sites in that room, thru wifi, via safari with no issue. :(

The workout blender videos won't play on iPad ....they are supposed to be coming out with an app so we can
Use the iPad , but nothing yet.... I think it was March when I asked about it and was told they were nearing
Completion, but it's July now.....Chromebooks are pretty inexpensive and they will play the videos if you can
Hook to the tv with a hdmi cable.....HTH :)

Thanks. I would have held off on the subscription. <sigh> I'm not looking to buy any computers, cheap or not, and there is no TV in my gym room, I just bring the ipad in with me. I have Roku on the TV, but workout blender videos won't play there either. Since I own download versions of all the newer workouts, this subscription is really a waste of $. <sigh>

You probably just need to click on the HD button and lower the quality of the stream. Stalling is caused by a poor internet or wifi connection. On poorer connections you can not play the highest quality setting without stalling. Also, the Workout Blender currently is only designed to work on Computers as others have mentioned. This will change once we release our iOS app.

i was told via email by someone at your company a few months ago that I could use the workout blender to create workouts to then play on my ipad. I'm not trying to create on the ipad, but just to play. my wifi signal is very strong. It doesn't just stall. It completely shuts down.

When I play blender videos on my iPad it stops between chapters. I have to press play at each chapter point. I've heard the app will fix that when ready :)

The Workout Blender will not work on an iPad. You can probably get it to play the first chapter, but it will then stop as Apple iOS does not support a video playlist. The exception to this is on Apple units using an older iOS (I believe less than 8.0). Before 8.0 it was possible to play saved WB videos on an iPad (but not recommended), but for some reason Apple stopped supporting video playlist on their more current versions. Hence, until we release our App it's just not possible to play WB saved videos on an iPad using a newer iOS.

When is this app expected? Back in March, I was told 'very soon'. It's now July. I've paid for a month of ondemand again, and can't use it. <sigh>.

We never give dates on software or app release dates as it's not something that can accurately be predicted. The OnDemand app is our number one focus right now and the pre-release version only has a few bugs that need to be fixed. But it's impossible to say how long it will take to fix the last few items and how long it will take for Apple to approve the app.
