Preggo's Check-in - April 6-13

Thanks ladies.

Lisa - It did grow and I saw the hands and feet (I've never seen that before), but it only measured 8wk1dy and I should've been 8wk4dy, so I'm sure it happened earlier this week. I had a pretty bad pain earlier in the week, but didn't have spotting, so dismissed it.

I'll be going in today for a 2nd opinion, but scheduling a D&C for next week. I can feel things aren't right. Symptoms are gone now and probably feeling cramping to start.

I'm glad you're all doing better with the nausea and I'll be back when I'm ready. probably taking the next week off of work to heal.

I'll be back later for more personals - just wanted to check on Anne.

Anne, My heart is breaking for you. I am so sorry.
You and DH deserve every happiness.
We'll still keep up hope to hear good news from you.

(((((giant bear hug)))))

anne, my heart goes out to you. words cannot express, but please know you and your dh are in my thoughts and prayers. i am glad you are getting a 2nd opinion today. more info will be good. please take good care.

jen, i am sorry you still feel so rotten. i know how easy it si to get paranoid, but take consolation you are doing wonderful things for your baby. lisa is right - topicals should not be a problem. sometimes the internet can be too much.

i will be back later for more personals but again, anne, lots of hugs your way.

kate, hope you are still energetic and having fun. any walks planned today? i am determined to go this afternoon before i pick ds up.

lisa, hope today is nausea free. did you make brownies yet}( }(

jen, hope you are a little better. the sleepless ness was the worst for me with my infection. that got better 48hrs after starting antibiotics. some are perfectly safe during pregnancy.

hi kristan, hi maggie

workout this am was 7 mil run and 3 drill max drills. i ran out of time! hopeing to do some standing leg work later, but a walk is priority. i finished my 1 boday part per day week using gym styles and pyramid upper. next week hope to do 2 or 3 total body endurance things to mix it up. we will see. the nice thing about oen body part is it is so quick!

Anne..

Stopping in to offer my condolences. I am so sorry. You just do not deserve this yet again. My thoughts are with you!

Thanks ladies. Still no heartbeat. It stopped developing at about 7wk5dy and I should've been 9wk5dy. We'll get through this. I'll be lurking here often and will return when more up to it. You're a great support system, so I'm sure I won't be able to stay away too long and I want to continue to see your progress.

Anne - I'm so sorry you are going through this. You are in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is breaking for you right now. Take whatever time you need to heal and when you're ready we're always here for you.

Lisa

Morris - Yes, I made brownies tonight and I ate 2 pieces. My justification is that it made me drink a glass of milk which I needed for the calcium. :p

Lisa

anne, big hugs your way. check in when you are ready.

lisa,i never thought of having milk with them - hmm, maybe we will bake tonight!!

i did imax 2 blast mania and amys hi lo knockout - this is now becoming a favorite of mine!!

i hope everyone has a good weekend.

Morris - I've owned IMAX2 for years and years now, but I've never did any of the premixes. I think I previewed them, but I never did one premix off of it. Maybe that'll be something I can look forward to doing when I start getting my energy back. Oooh, what are you planning on baking? I want to make another pan of brownies already!

Lisa

Anne, My deepest apologies for what has happened. You are so sweet. You and DH must be devastated - I hope you have lots of support at home this week. Let us know you are okay. Or if you're not let us know that too. (((((big hug))))

Jen, Are you feeling better?

Lisa, I always get paranoid getting constipated - I sure don't want hemmoroids to develop! Ew! Anybody here ever get 'em? My midwife's office doesn't have an u/s machine. They send you to a lab for it. I'm not worried about picking up the hb - I'll go back in another week to hear the hb. And I'm *very* sure of my due date. My periods are super regular and when we concieved was the only, and I mean only, time in the month we had sex. We both get super stressed with work and stay up too late working to have sex! Gotta work on that I guess! Our produce prices have all gone up in the last month. I currently pay 5.69/gallon for organic milk - DD1 can't have the regular stuff - she breaks out like crazy. Now being pg I'm drinking it too. I wish I could rationalize buying the organic meats too. I like your justification on the brownies!! Except I would've had ice cream for the calcium, not milk!

Morris, No walks here. Too much rain. And hail! My word! We were driving in a hail storm last ngiht and it sounded like it was going to come thru the truck! The hail was HUGE! Glad you're getting some good WO's in. DM sounds fun - maybe tomorrow.

-----------------------------
I've been busy the last couple days - MIA here. I've been feeling great except for today. I had a great AM - did lots of chores, then I did a WO and it SLAMMED me. 5 minutes after I was so nauseous I could barely stand up. I drifted in and out of sleep for a couple hours. Got up and made myself some lunch then did some errands. Still nauseated, I made dinner, but doing better now! My house cleaner came y'day. She does an awesome job. Today I did some extra organizing/changed bed sheets. My house looks great! I better take a picture - it won't last long!

Have a nice Saturday night!

Hi,
I "think" I am getting better. The antibiotic is done, so we will see. It is now all in my chest, but I'm not coughing all day (just about 1/2 the day). I took a short walk with DS today, took him to a birthday party at a "My Gym" (very fun) and played outside with him after that (well, after I laid on the couch for 45 minutes). DH was gone fishing, but is now back.

I've had bronchitis many, many times before, so I believe that that is what I have now. I don't have a fever, so I am thinking that the bacterial infection is gone. If anything gets worse, I will call my family doctor or allergist on Monday. I get allergy shots, and have not been able to get them for the past 2 weeks due to my health. I usually get them one time a month, so I am overdue by 1 1/2 months! Spring and fall are the worst times for me with allergies. Everything is blooming here, so that doesn't help much. I haven't been up to exercising yet. I will when I feel better.

Kate-I wish my house looked neat. Good for you!

Hi to everyone else. I am off to cough and watch Lost on DVD. Is anyone else here addicted to that show?

Oh, I have Amy's Extreme Kickboxing waiting here from Netflix. How is that one?

-Jen

Kate - I don't have hemmorhoids while pg, but with both births, I got them after and they hurt! It went away after a week, but it was so uncomfortable. Thankfully that's the only time I've ever had them show up, but I'm totally constipated also. I buy organic milk from Costco which isn't too bad. Right now, there is really no where here on the island that sells organic meats, but Whole Foods is supposed to be opening up sometime this year.

Jen - I don't watch Lost, but I am waiting for Heroes to start up again.

I had a similar morning to Kate where I felt great in the morning and got a bunch of things done, but after lunch I felt nauseated. I took a short nap and now I feel okay.

Lisa

Jen, Sounds like you've had a nice day. Glad the cough is clearing up! How frustrating.

Lisa, Island!? Are you in Hawaii??!! Sorry about the post-natal hems. Yuck. My mom had one before and was just about in tears. Wish we had a whole Foods around us too.

I had a nice hot looooooong shower - ready to jump into bed with a warm towel wrapped around my head. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

morning everyone! sorry for all the sickness yesterday. i think one of the hard parts in pregnancy is not being able to do everything we used to without crashing!!

lisa, i like the blast and blast mania on imax 2. it is easier than imax 3 with more recovery but still tough enough. i am not sure how many more weeks i can do so much impact though.

jen, you asked about kbx from amy. truthfully, i hated it 1st time i did it, but really liked it 2nd time, and now i love it!! it is very intense (comparable to boot camp, drill max cardio only, etc). since cathe was my first kbing, i think i found it hard to get used to someone else. but, it is super fun and a really good workout. i love amy's hi lo too, and i have never liked hi lo before!

i am going to workout later on during nap. hoping for a longish run and maybe some muscle endurance - upper body only perhpas. bbl
