Prayers needed please :(

Amelia, remember: the whole time your DH has been looking has been the "holidays". Not much job interviewing goes on during that time because so many people are on vacation. I'm sure now that the holidays are over, things will pick up for your DH. I just feel it in my bones. Don't despair! But do feel free to vent. ;)

Oh, and as for parents, I had to ask for help several times when I was your age. It's par for the course. Don't sweat it.

{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}} Come here to vent all you want! You and your family are in my thoughts while you're going through this.

I just read everyone's reply to my DH! He's thankful and I am too...I will stay positive!

Hugs to everybody....:)

We just had a meeting at work where the theme was positive living, goal setting, etc. One example was a man going in to get a job in a poor job market but it was his determination that made him stand apart and he got the job. I thought - as soon as this meeting is over, I must pass that on!

Amelia - I'm praying that DH finds a job soon. Keep us posted. These times are so awful, I am grateful every day for the things I have, my job, the ability to pay mortgage and bills (although lately it is alot tougher - the price of everything - food, utilities, other bills - keeps going up up up).

Hang in there - and know that prayers are coming your way.

Amelia,
I've come out of lurking specifically to respond to your post.
We went thru the same think in June of this year. I know exactly how you feel. I couldn't sleep, eat or think. I would wake up in the middle of the night and throw up. It is terrible.
Anyhow, i encourage you to pray to St Jude. I prayed and prayed every day and within 8 weeks my husband found another job which actually is better than the one he lost.
I will pray for you as well. Experiencing this first hand has made me so close to this issue.
Take care, things will work out.

Wendy

I feel for you. I love my job, but because of circumstances beyond my control or my job performance, it is in jeopardy every single day. I keep expecting to walk in the door and be told that this was my last day. The feelign that you could lose your home and your security is terrifying, not to mention the feeling that you could lose all your fitness equipment!
