Hi Everyone!

I would like your opinion on which of the above DVD sets you would buy. Has anyone tried both? I believe the PowerHour comes with MIS and Body Max. Look forward to your responses.

Pyramids hands down.

If you get MIS also, you are basically getting the same thing again: an endurance total body workout. There are many who love BodyMax. I don't. The bpm is too fast and I injured myself doiung this workout. The end of it is more endurance weight training for the upper body. Do you need three endurance workouts on the same DVD?

With the Pyramids you get a totally different and unique style of training and premixes, so that you can change how you do these two workouts to suit your goals and time: you can just pyramid up or just pyramid down, and with these two premixes, you will find that you can lift even heavier. It is possible to go heavy on these workouts, especially on PLB. The second half of the workout features some awesome floor work to help with problem areas like inner ans outer thigh. PUB is amazing, intense, and just keeps coming. I defy you not to be totally wiped by the end of it. It also has an excellent and tough abs/core section at the end that uses the stability ball, and again, thanks to the premixes and chapters, you can add this core section on to the end of any other workout you do.

I agree with Clare, Pyramids are awesome! I love using the Pyramid down premix and going as heavy as I can. I don't think there are too many people on this forum who don't love the Pyramids.

I don't have Power Hour, but I really love the Pyramids. Excellent, excellent workouts, and the bonus combo is pretty cool. Pyramid Upper Body fries my arms every time.

Another vote for Piramids, I did PUB this morning and added 30 minutes of cardio at the end. I love the flexibility of this workouts.

Definitely PUB.

I like both, and they are so different.

It somewhat depends on what your goals are and what you need in your collection.

As you mentioned, PH comes with MIX and BodyMax, two excellent workouts, so on one DVD, you get an endurance workout, a full-body strength workout, and a killer, long cardio + weights workout.

The Pyramids, however, are probably my favorite Cathe weight workouts (Gym Styles are vying for that spot!). I do modify by putting in longer breaks between sets on the lower body workout. Otherwise, PLB is pretty much a perfectly balanced lower body workout (even without the stability ball work).
