Possible CTX rotation for February.

Hey there, Karen.

So on tuesday I did Basic Step again with one set of risers and the abs from All Step. On wednesday (I got cleared by my doc!) I did 10*10*10 (with impact--oh my!), CTX back work and L&G floor only premix. Today I did Push Pull and who knows what tomorrow will bring. I am sooo happy to be back to my work outs! I feel sooo much better now! :7 :7 :7

I love being a mom. There is no better feeling than cuddling with a new life that you have created and having him/her fall asleep in your arms...I LOVE IT! He is the sweetest! Even when he is cranky! lol

Hi Wendy,

:)

So I had to go and peek at your new picture -- wish I had a scanner so I could scan in pictures -- it's so cool that you change your pictures all the time.

I bet you are happy to get back to workouts. I know I would be. I also think it's great that you're so into this. I didn't exercise at all after I had kids -- it wasn't until later in life that I finally tried to get those abs back in shape...

Okay, so I love your kitchen cabinets -- like I said, I had to peek, and since you love to shop, do you know about Zappo's? www.zappos.com
-- the shoe store. What a great site. I've been getting lost there recently. I, too, love to shop.

For me today it was High Step Advanced -- great workout -- did it cause I didn't really feel like working out -- thus, forced myself to do it -- and I was glad -- felt good afterwards.

That is so cool, to curl up with your baby. Ah, how I loved it -- now I curl up with my cats...:7

Well, have a great evening and a terrific workout tomorrow.:7

Hi Karen.

I changed my username just the other day. Like it? :+

Sorry I've been remiss in responding to your post. :-(

What have you been up to? I've been workin' out 5 days per week. I just purchased and received a fat analyzer and an HRM. I used the analyzer this morning and almost threw up! lol I will be using the HRM tomorrow when I do Boot Camp. I was supposed to try it today during KPC but I'm a dope and forgot! lol

Well, my babe is sleeping so I should probably try to get a little housework done...I KNOW feeding time is gonna come real soon! ;)

Okay, I'm off to work now! Take care and I will try to be better about posting from now on!:)

Hi Wendy,

So nice to hear from you. You're right -- I totally didn't notice that you had posted again. Anyway, don't fret too much over the fat -- remember that this is the body's way of helping the baby over these first few months of life -- I think -- if I remember correctly -- that I didn't lose all the weight (without even trying -- those were the days) until a couple of months after the baby was born. Nature's protection.

Just keep up with the workouts and I think you'll find in a couple of months that the weight will come off easily.

As for me, I was bad, bad, bad this holiday weekend and managed to gain 6 pounds in 2 days. Go figure. I'm hoping that much of it is water weight -- but I'm taking no chances and have put myself back on my old diet. Oh, how I hate dieting.

I have to keep reminding myself of this -- so I don't overdo it -- it's so much easier to keep it off than to take it off once it's on -- at least that's how it is at my age nowadays.

Anyway, have a terrific day, Wendy.

:7

Hi Karen.

So I purchased the FitDay software a few months ago and just started using it a few days ago! lol It's way cool but very involved. Takes lots of patience and the discipline to record everything. I like it though. I am hoping it will give me the info I need to "fix" my diet so that I can shed pounds more effectively.

Since I last wrote I have tried IMAX 2. I did the first premix. Holy cow! GREAT work out! I will be doing the second premix this week...wednesday I think. Then I will try the entire thing the following week....well...MAYBE! LOL :p

I am newly in love with Boot Camp. It's hard as heck and definately has a dread factor to it but I feel soooo awesome and accomplished when I am done with it! :+

I have also done all 3 work outs from the PH dvd with the exception of the circuit section of Body Max which I will do soon. Great DVD. Very glad I bought it. :)

Now I want the Rythmic Step DVD, Coremax and either Pure Strength or Slow and Heavy...It never ends for a Cathe-addict...does it?? }( }( }(

How are you work outs going? Have you lost that holiday w/e weight yet? If not, you will! :) What's up with work? Are you currently writing something?

Well, Joey seems to be settled and off to dream-land for the night so it's time for momma to hit the hay herself! :)

Have a great day, Karen!
TTYS!

Hi Wendy!:)

So sorry. Didn't see your post for a while. My daughter has been here from New York and so I haven't even been posting on my own thread lately.

Oh my gosh. I'm so glad that you were able to do IMAX2 -- isn't it great? And also Bootcamp -- I'm newly in love with that one, too. It took me a while to warm up to it but now I love it. Also, do you have Cardio & Weights? I love, love, that one, too -- and it's a new love as well.

Have promised myself that I'm going to buy KPC and High Step Challenge this week. I'm just gonna do it. Keep drooling over them, but keep forgetting to actually buy them.:+

Well, at present, I'm thrown into scheduling out this new tour and I just also got the manuscript back for revisions...x( So it's no resting time for me -- just gotta keep at it -- keep going. Thank goodness I have my workouts, which I love so much.

Okay, so we (my husband and brother-in-law) were there Friday night -- after 12 midnight -- at Barnes & Noble -- standing in line to get our copies (yes, we each had to have our own copy) of Harry Potter. Just love Harry Potter. This new one is really a good one, too. Better than the last one, in my humble opinion. So of course, gotta make this short and go read...:+

Have a terrific day and good workout -- oh, and have a wonderful new day with your son.

Hey Karen.

Yes, I have Cardio and Weights but haven't done that one in it's entirety in quite a while. I'll have to do it one day. I made a swap with a fellow poster here so now I have the Terminator DVD to try out for a couple of weeks!}( I'm very excited to try it but it has to wait until next week.

I am doing Boot Camp tomorrow! }(

And guess what!? I FINALLY have a FULL SIZE STEP! YEAY! I have been using a very small step since I began Cathe's work outs because it was much cheaper than a f/s one. Well, I came across a VERY used (but it still does it's job!) full size reebok step on ebay for $15.00 and that INCLUDED shipping so I jumped on it! I am very happy with it even though it's not the prettiest thing in the world! :7

I also recently bought new sneakers. Now that I am no longer pregnant, I have been doing the high impact moves and quickly realized my sneakers needed replacing cause certain movements hurt! x(

So you are already on to writing a new book, huh? Good for you that you are keeping busy. I remember that you prefer to be busy. :)

So is your daughter still visiting or has she returned to the east coast? Did you 2 do any fun things together?

Well, it's late and I think my little guy is sleeping so I'm going off to bed myself.

TTYS!:)
Wendy

Hi Wendy,

It's so good to hear from you!:)

Wow, you have a swap going -- that is so very cool. Isn't Cathe's site great? You'll have to let me know what you think of the Terminator.

And you have a full-sized step. Wow! I had a small one at first, too, and then realized that I needed a bigger one -- and I got one on half.com -- a part of ebay -- it was only about $20.00 -- but the shipping and handling was so expensive, that the full cost was about $55.00. Still, I think it was a deal. But $15.00 -- and no shipping and handling. Wow!

Yeah, shoes make all the difference in the world. When I first started doing Cathe, I, too, realized I had to have new shoes. Now I have 2 pair -- one for my Cathe workouts and one for outside sprinting -- the Cathe ones get the most work.

At present, I'm involved in scheduling out this tour -- whew! What a lot of work. And yes, my daughter went back to NY last Saturday. We got to spend some great time with each other -- both my daughter's -- one lives here on the West coast -- birthday's are in July, so we got to celebrate them together. It was great, actually.

Also, on this tour that I'm scheduling -- not sure of the exact date or anything, but I think we (another author and I) are going to be doing some sort of signing in NJ -- in October, I believe. I'll let you know more about it -- not sure if it'll be close to you or not -- or if you'd even be free, but thought I'd mention it anyway, just in case.

Okay, so have a terrific day, Wendy. And a great workout.:7

Hi Karen.

Yes, full size steps are quite expensive brand new. That is mostly why I got the smaller one in the beginning. Even at www.walmart.com where I've seen the cheapest price, it's still atleast $60.00 I believe and that is BEFORE shipping! Plus it comes with a set of risers that I just don't need right now! I've seen full size steps sold for as much as $120.00!!! That's insane!!! I actually intend to purchase the high step in the future so I can use those risers with my step instead of buying a separate set. The fact that the risers are interchangable like that make life a lot CHEAPER! lol :)

When you know more about when you might be in NJ, let me know. It would be great to be able to meet you if it's possible!

So far I have done the Viper off of the Terminator dvd and I LOVED it! It's got the intensity of Boot Camp for sure but it's a much different work out. I can't wait to try the other 2 now!

My Joey is getting so big! He was at the doctor's yesterday morning and he now weighs 13pounds 2 ounces and is over 23 inches long at just over 2 months old! :+

I am probably going to the racetrack (horse racing) with my mom and Joey today. DH is out fishing with his dad today.

Well, gotta run for now.

TTYL!:)
Wendy

Hi Wendy!:)

I was out of town (and getting ready to go out of town) and so didn't see that you had posted. Yes, the step is expensive. Thank goodness for things like ebay and half.com -- it's like a country-wide garage sale. Just got a laptop on ebay for $321.00 and that includes shipping and handling.

Am considering ordering the new DVD's and different step for my daughters to try to get them into exercise. Have to think about it a bit -- when my daughter was here in the early part of July, I gave her my TimeSaver DVD and hope that she will use it.

Oh, I bet Joey is really growing. Already up to 13 pounds -- isn't it incredible. Pretty soon he'll be taking the car...

Oh, yes, I'll let you know when we'll be signing in New Jersey -- still doing the scheduling right now -- whew! It's quite a lot of scheduling to do a coast to coast tour.

Anyway, have a great workout day -- isn't bootcamp great? Don't have the other things that you were mentioning, however.

Boy, the rotation this month is a heavy-duty one -- I actually don't have the time to put into it -- I have to have only 1 hour workouts -- just can't fit in more than that in one day, unfortunately.

Anyway, have a great day, Wendy.:7

Hi Karen.

Sorry it took me so long to write back. I guess I was just being lazy about it. :p

$321 is an excellent deal on a laptop! Good for you!

Best of luck encouraging your daughters to exercise...that can be tough.

Joey taking the car!? Bite your tongue, Karen! :eek: LOL!

So I am doing the August 04 rotation, NOT 05! The 05 intrigues me but I am not quite }( crazy }( enough for it yet! The 04 rotation focuses on toning/strengthening of the legs/glutes and fat burning. I am really enjoying it and can feel the difference in the strength of my legs already! I did PLB today and my weights were all too light! I do it again on wednesday so I will upping all of my weights! I feel like wonderwoman! :+ :7 :+

Anway, hope you are doing well. I know that you are busy with your scheduling and all. Make sure you make time for you though!!! (and you DH too! ;) )

TTYS, Karen. :)

Hi Wendy!:)

You made me laugh -- you know he will grow up and do just that -- I remember it well...;)

So, the scheduling is almost done -- we'll be doing two booksignings in New Jersey, it looks like -- and as soon as everything's confirmed, I'll send an email out on the tour schedule -- I think I have your email address, so you'll probably get a copy of it.

Anyway, now I get to think about other little promotional things -- but mostly I have to settle down and get to work on the revisions for my next book -- which must be done before I go on tour -- plus a proposal for the next book -- which also must be done before I go on tour... Plus I have to do our taxes -- we had filed an extension in April... Sigh...;(

So things are still very busy -- but maybe that's good. The computer is fun -- at least I should be able to play DVD's on it while on the road -- that's a big thing -- it means I can take my Cathe's. Yea!

Anyway, hope you are enjoying motherhood. What a great time you have ahead of you.

Have a great one.:7

Hi Karen.

Sorry (again) that it took me so long to write back. I'm bad with it lately I guess. :-(

So 2 stops in NJ huh? Very cool!:)

Things are busy here as well. Getting things going for Joey's Christening which is set for Sept 18. We also have a wedding to go to on the 16th. It will be quite a hectic weekend! Hoping to go shopping for his Christening outfit this weekend as well as a new car seat. He will be outgrowing the infant seat in no time already! He's getting so big so fast...it makes me sad in a way. ;(

So I completed 2 weeks of that aug 04 rotation I was doing and then I got aggravated and stopped exercising for 3 days (this past sat/sun/mon) because I keep GAINING weight instead of LOSING it! x(
So a friend of mine on the boards convinced me to ask another poster for help who has helped quite a few women here get on track with thier eating which appears to have been my problem. I also changed my work out rotation to be an aggressive body fat burner while maintaining the muscle I already have. Today was the first day of the "new plan". Another gal who did this said she lost 6 pounds in the first 10 days. That would thrill the heck outta me if that happens! Keep your fingers crossed for me, okay? :+

Hope all is well and that you are on schedule with everything you need to do!

TTYS!

:)

Hi Wendy,

I'd been trying to pull up your post on another computer (just got a laptop) and it wouldn't pull it up and so I thought that this thread wasn't still available -- how 'bout we start a new one so that I can pull it up on my laptop as well. My laptop is so much faster than my regular computer.

Anyway, that's interesting that you gained weight. Goodness -- I hate it when I see that scale going upx( -- love it when it comes down.:D

Hope that you're getting into your new exercises -- you'll have to let me know what you're doing and how it's going, okay?

Anyway, I'm going to start another little thread that we can talk back and forth on, just so that I can pull it up on my other computer -- what would you like to call it? The same thing CTX rotations? Okay, so hope you have a great weekend and do lots for that Christening. What fun. :7
