I wish I had ordered another one of the round mats but by the time I decided to get it, they were sold out. I love the one I have. I thought I would mention that I noticed a bit of a "coating" on it at first that felt a little slippery but after a few uses, it went away. Mine is fine now, not slippery at all.Yes, I ordered the mat the day she made the announcement. I'm actually a bit on the fence with it - something about its finish makes my hands sweaty versus other yoga mats that I have.
I'm enjoying it for my lower body days, though - my carpet doesn't offer the best traction, and I work out barefoot, so there can be some slippage at times with lunges, especially. The giant mat is the right size to accommodate lunges in all directions/angles instead of my having to move my standard yoga mat around to help prevent slipping. (And I don't want to use shoes when I work out - don't want them tearing up the carpet - been working out barefoot for 20+ some years.)
I've got my fingers crossed too since my PHA2 refund. I ordered a lot of back up DVD'S & sets. I did miss out on the LiTe & ICE bundles. Was disappointed. I was indecisive a little too long about my orders.New Gear: Boxing gloves, 6' round yoga mat
Back-up Gear: lifting gloves
New DVDs: STS Mesos 1-3, Perfect Pump, Total Body Barbell, Gym-Style Back, Shoulders & Biceps, Gym-Style Chest & Triceps, Fit Tower series, Fit Split series.
Not sure if I'm actually going to receive Fit Tower and Fit Split or not since it looks like I ordered them after they were having some inventory glitches in their system. Fingers crossed.
I didn't see any instructions with the mat. Good suggestion though maybe hitting it with a mild cleanser.Cathe's TPE yoga mats came with instructions on how to clean. It says to use special yoga wipes or use a spray bottle filled 50% water and 50% white or apple-cider vinegar and then wipe down with a towel. Maybe the 6' mat came with similar instructions.
Lol. I could have written the same post because I did exactly what you did. I haven't tried all of the downloads I bought recently and I was feeling a bit guilty about all the buying. But not anymore. With this turn of events, I realized that we can lose it all so quickly and not just DVDs and gear. I plan to buy more downloads because I don't do streaming, even if I don't get around to using them all. I tend to repeat workouts a lot. I'm loving the functional aging focus that Cathe added to her offering. I'm hoping that buying downloads regularly will help keep them coming.Lol. No defense needed IMO. I've made at least 3 purchases starting with the Black Friday sales, then bought backups in the New Year sale, and again in this sale. I like Cathe's gear and these are great prices. I also made LIVE purchases with the 50% off and $2.97 sales. Guess I love a sale.
I read this and was crossing my fingers for no more fitness gadgets. Then I saw the idea she may start utilizing Amazon Affiliate links and my heart sank.I'm assuming Cathe will use the same gear in new workouts.
I’m glad to hear that it’s not slippery anymore, I’ve been having that issue I really enjoy my round matI wish I had ordered another one of the round mats but by the time I decided to get it, they were sold out. Yes ma'am!! Totally agree!I kind of envy those of you getting new-to-you DVDs. It's so much fun to get new workouts! You'd think I'd stop clamoring for more but bodies and priorities can change over time, plus it's refreshing to do something totally different.
I love the stability balls!Socks: Not the ones with sayings, but the other with the heel tab. Very nice quality.
Gear: The green stability ball. I've never owned one. Medium tubing and gloves. The gloves are nice. I like that they are lighter weight but the quality is good. Nice fit.
Dvds: Fit Tower TB, Legs & Abs, STS2 Upper Body 1, STS2 Lower Body 2.
I'm officially done ordering and definitely have enough to keep me busy for awhile. Looking forward to doing a Live tomorrow.
Coming back to mention that I went ahead and washed the mat with some mild soap and water and that seemed to do the trick - wasn't quite so... oily feeling and my hands weren't getting all sweaty despite that it's a warm day today.Cathe's TPE yoga mats came with instructions on how to clean.
