Plyo Frog Jump Things...

Can anyone suggest a modified version of these strange, straddled leg jumps that appear in Cardio Kicks, please ? And does it really matter that the heel of my foot doesn't land on the floor first ?

Hmmm how about modified forward jumps with a slight bend in the knee. I think you need to be careful in that the weight of your body when you land on the front of your foot could put pressure on your knees I make a really conscious effort to put my heels down otherwise like you I would land on the front of my foot and put too much pressure on my knees.

Thanks for that, I will try it tonight. I had a practice go last night in my trainers, and I just couldn't get my heel down first ? Maybe it will come with practice !

Yes I am thank you its my period its changing the way I feel before its starts but each month its never the same. I blame it on the fact that I am 36 in Jan or maybe my fibroids is coming back.

BTW I tried Mindy Strength workout yesterday with my new medicine balls it was great it really does work your muscles but in a completely different way. I was using an 8lb ball for some exercises so I must thank Cathe for that.

I don't like the way my knees feel when doing these with my knees bent, so I just do them straight legged & reduce the jump. It seems to modify the impact for me.
 
Hi Anna,

Initially, I modified by doing the frog jumps in place. They moved forward, but I just did them in place. Somehow it helped both impact wise and wind wise (they do take your breath away when you move with them!)
