Anyone!

Please help.......how do I tightened up the bat wings under the arms. I swear I could fly!:7

Seriously, biceps, triceps, shoulders...all look good but this part just swings......all I need is a bananna and a monkey...well, you get the picture.

Any suggestions....please!

Karen:)

Yes! I do all of Cathe's rotations. I have all of her dvd's. While I have really good definition on my arms...this underneath stuff is just soft.

Am I doing something wrong?

I have been working out for 16 years. I am approaching 44. Does age have something to do with this? Is there an exercise that will tighten up this area?

Any suggestions?

Karen

I know you've probably heard this before, but if the diet isn't good, all the exercise in the world won't save you.

That being said, a fairly clean diet and finding several rotations that work for you (being able to change it up every few weeks or so) will do the trick. I'm not really partial to any particular rotation as I like to keep changing.

I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!

Unfortunately, that's an area of the upper body that seems to like to hold on to any excess fat, especially as we get older. Reducing overall body fat (primarily through diet, but in general by creating a calorie deficit) can help.

Be aware, though, that sometimes it's difficult to get to a low enough body fat to eliminate our 'trouble areas' that store fat (belly, thighs, triceps...whatever we are genetically programmed for) without other non-trouble areas getting too scrawny (I have this problem with belly--fat storing--and chest--too easily gets boney looking).

Very well said, Kathryn. Right now my weight is down as low as it can go without my being considered underweight. Yet I spent hours today trying on panties that all gave me bulges and muffin top. x( If I were to lose enough fat to have a lean midsection, my arms and legs would be scrawny. There really is a limit to how much control we have over these things.

that ? has been asked before and one of the response was pullovers. one of my favs because it also works the core.
