You are right! How thoughtful of you to think of others in your own time of stress. I am 44 and have dense, fibrous breasts and it makes it really tough to do my own exam as I constantly feel things. I am a couple months overdue for my annual mamo. I will rectify that on Monday. Yesterday, I heard that my friend, who had a masectomy 2 years ago has cancer again and it has spread. It is extremely upsetting as she got conflicting opinions as to what to do. She opted to not have masectomy right away and her treatments did not work. I wish some in the medical community would be more straightforward with their patients.
