Physique 57 ab results +

Ah, good points Joan and Jen. Now I've just got to decide how much I think I will or won't use them and decide if it's worth keeping them. I need to try doing them with the sound muted and my music blarring and see if that makes a difference. The burn is most definitely there! Perhaps I was just in so much pain that it amplified the annoyance factor for me. I kinda get that way when I'm uncomfortable. I gotta keep at it and see if maybe they grow on me.

Maybe Cathe will do some workouts similar to these using the Cathe tower. That would be so cool!

Angie,

I always preview workouts before I do them and after 5 minutes of this I had to mute it--I was yelling at the TV "shut up!" I was sure I was going to send it back and not like it. You are right, they talk the entire time.

However after the second time I did the workout I didn't mind her so much and now I'm concentrating on the moves so much that I don't care. I've gotten great results w/abs and thighs. I'd certainly never make a whole rotation out of this but I will do it 2-3 times a week for sure. Give it a chance.

I hope Cathe will be doing a barre workout too, as well as kettlebells!

OMG!! That Shelly Knight, the blond, sounded like she was in fast motion...I thought of you guys the whole time and laughed...I will never use that video again. Hopefully, the other two videos are better :)

LOL! Jen - I'm not sure I'll ever do that one again either. But, on the bright side the other two are better. Dontcha just wonder how she breathes??;)

Sandra - I had to chuckle when I read the post about yelling "Shut up!" at the TV. My 11 yr. old son and I are working out together and I convinced him to give this workout a shot - I was surprised that he did. Anyways, there were times when we were saying OMG - Shut up! at the same time.:confused: I do agree though that it seems to get less annoying the more you do it. The express workout I think is the most tolerable as far as the talking goes.

You guys crack me up:D

OMG I thought the constant chatter would drive me nuts the first time I did this! I muted the DVD and finished in silence:) Did it again and it didn't bother me so much. I like the workouts. Just haven't found a consistant place for them yet in my routine. But for me, the leg part w/ the chair, where you have one leg up and out to side, tends to hurt my back. this bother anyone else? Maybe my form is wrong, I'll do it again this week to make sure. other than that, i would reccomend the DVDs:)

Back pain

Yes, the standing glute/seat work does hurt my back as well. I don't know if this is because I've had previous back injuries and I had a spinal tap a few months ago and the area is still sore. Could be a little bit of form/technique, but I don't think much.

I've been modifying all of the glute/seat moves on the floor with no back pain at all and you still get all the burn. Just get on your mat, hands and knees and do the same moves. Easy to modify.

P57 customer service

My Classic 57 DVD has been acting up/skipping since I bought it, so I called customer service to request a new one. I thought they would make me send in the old one, but they happily said they'd send a new one out in 7-10 days and I didn't have to do anything else. Pleasantly surprised. :D
