Photoshop Elements 3>Anyone familiar with

I have photoshop elements 2. I don't know how big your snowflake problem is, but you may be able to correct it by zooming in real close to your son's nose and 'erasing' it by changing the color of the pixels over his nose. It might take a couple tries to get the color and/or shading right so make sure your original picture is saved off somewhere if you need to start over again. I use this same technique to get rid of red eyes. Photoshop isn't the most user friendly to work with but I found that 'help' on the toolbar and the user manual to be pretty thorough. HTH.

I've used version 2, but I know V.3 has the stamp tool. You basically enlarge the photo, click on the stamp tool, grab coloring next the the snowflake spot (showing skin color) and then stamp over the snowflake. If I'm not making myself clear, use help and enter "stamp" for directions on using the tool.

Remember to make a copy of the photo first. Don't mess with the only copy you have in case this takes a few tries!

I use Paint shop pro and there is a took called the clone tool, all you do is click on part of his face you want to clone then click on the snow flack and it will fill in with the the rest of his face that is covered with the snowflake.

I learned a tiny bit in a digital carmra class that I just took. I did experiment with the bandaid tool and thought it was cool. I asked my teacher how long it took for him to learn Photoshop, and he said about 12 years, and he's still learning! LOL! It's complicated that's for sure.
Everything I learned, I forgot 2 min. later. LOL!

There are tutorials online to help you learn the programs. That is how I learned most of it and then just jumping and playing with it, but as someone says, copy, copy, copy' always copy picture as not to harm the original
