Phobias anyone?

i have a really bad fear of cockroaches. oh my goodness! when i go downstairs to the kitchen in my house or anyone's house for that matter, i have to carry a can of raid, turn on all the lights and check the whole kitchen before i can do wateva i went to do. if i see one, i nearly empty the can on it. It's like that for all bugs, actually. And i'm 29 yrs old n still haven't overcome this fear, but i'm working on it. :D

Another really bad fear i have is of bridges or any height really. I live in NY and my fear is so bad that i've never been to the top of the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty. i start wheezing and have to take my asthma pump and count in my head to try and keep my mind on anything else but the height. it's really crazy. I also HATE vomit and i bug out when i see it or think someone is about to do it. if someone is throwing up, i cover my nose so i won't have to inhale it. YEECH!

Sorry, it's so long but what can i say, i'm a big punk. LOL!!!

i sympathize with u. i too suffer from this fear, so bad that when my husband gets sick, i leave the room. i don't do like most wives and rub his back to help him get thru it. I CAN'T!! It freaks me out. And the few times when my son gets sick, i have to have my husband clean it up. I'm such a punk. :)

Spiders (I can't even touch a book/magazine page that has a photo of one on it)

Toilets (I can use them, but the flushing part makes my heart race. Forget an overflowing toilet... I've nearly passed out from that. Also, I can not go anywhere near the hole in the floor that is left when a toilet is removed. I freak out!)
