I posted here about a month or 2 ago about if 35 was too old to have a baby. I got some great answers here that were positive. After 4 years of trying with 2 miscarriages we were getting really discouraged. We decided to go see a specialist in June for some help. Well, yesterday I woke up in the am and could not drink coffee (that has only happened when pregnant!) then I couldn't cook turkey sausage without retching. I took a home test and it was POSITIVE. So I went into the dr's and the blood test was realllllly positive. I am not due to start until Sat., but with all of my other pregnancies I have known before the start date thanks to my coffee adversion! the dr seemed as optimistic as you can be this early, so I have a prayer request(or good vibes, thoughts, anything:) that this is a keeper! thanks for your support!

I'll be praying!!!!! 35 is not to old. I'm 32 with 2 girls and I'm not finished but I'm not ready for another right now. I was thinking in a couple of years when I'm 35 or 36. I couldn't drink coffee when I was PG.

Lots of prayers, positive thoughts, AND good vibes headed your way! I think I was one of those who responded to your other thread...I was 36 when I had my 3rd child. Good luck with your pregnancy!

Oh I am thrilled for you!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a great sign you are sick. I recall being told by my mid wife
she is always happy to hear women having morning sickness or
just feeling grossed out by smells, etc especially early on.
It means your body is doing what its supposed to do.
I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!!

The idea is to die young as late as possible.

Congratulations!!!!I had my first at 29, the second at 35, and I was a better mom at 35! There's a sanity that takes hold as ya approach 40 (that maturation of the frontal lobe), and we were SOOOO much more secure in our marriage, home, community....OH it was a Joy!!!!

May it be for you too....REST, and Gestate, and keep us posted!
