Hi everyone--
This morning I did about 30 minutes of RK with 1 lb. gloves and followed with 20 min. of barre from Turbo barre.
Josie, how nice that your parents are still alive and you can spoil them. I would skip the plyo too.
Deb, I think Dorothy wore some kind of pinafore over a dress. It's those ruby shoes. Maybe you can bedazzle some old sneakers. Your mention of the mastiff reminds me of an outing DH and I did last week to get soft serve ice cream. A couple drove in with a dog that looked like a mastiff to me, so I asked. Instead, it was a bouvier de flandres that had been clipped within an inch of its life (usually they look like bear cubs to me). His name was Thunder and they apparently go there every night to get him his cone. What was so funny is how delicately he ate it--just with this tongue circling the ice cream. If I gave Max a cone, he would have it down in a couple of gulps. After the ice cream was down to the level of the cone, Thunder put his tongue in and continued to get the ice cream out. Finally he ate the cone. I was amazed. Then the woman offered him a napkin, and he rubbed each side of his mouth against it. This is their fourth bouvier. Their first one was named Bucephylis after Alexander the Great's horse. I don't know what you might call him for short--Bucey?
I read somewhere that American airlines also has decided not to import big game trophies.
Judy, are you doing the August STS challenge? Good luck on it! I would like to do some home projects as well, but this is DH's busiest time of the year, and I need some help.
Lori, the really bad storms seemed to be all around us, but we just had some thunder and lightning and modest rainfall. We lucked out I think.
Valerie, I too expect to be entertained rather than enlightened.
